Looks to be a great week. Love last nights episoed, thought Ronnies performance with the counsellor was really moving and Kats performance in the car park was brill. Well done to both ladies.

woop second to comment!! eastenders just keeps on getting better!! however i expected the returning of tommy to kat and alfie would be a bit more dramatic. and i think ronnie might be mental! :O she's seeing visions! guess it relates to alot of people. hope another amazing storyline turns up! xxxxxxxxxx

Don't you think she had a few mental health issues before she started seeing the visions?!! I think that the story line and all the press overshadowed the excellent acting in that storyline which is sad, can't wait to see what happens next tho!

Can't wait for the street party, should be great! But UGH! Ryan is back! I wish Kirkwood would hurry up and Axe him!

Why is it that Nigeria was used as an example of illegal immigrant in Eastenders: is it because they were the most popular,endowed in mineral resources(Gas & Oil) in Africa

Using Nigeria, as an example of illegal immigrants is totally unacceptable. Couldnt mercy have been born in the uk? We Nigerians take that as an insult and a means of passing some sorta message accross to the public. Nigerians holds down good jobs here, including MPs. I think the producers of Eastenders should apologise for such racial statement and act upon it asap! Living legal or illegal, didnt have anything to do with the discussion Aurthur and mercy were having, if you lot are falling short of story line,dont use Nigeria has an object of ridicule.

Can anyone tell me why all the prisoners wear a yellow band across their chest during visiting time?? I live in Holland and only see these in Eastenders.

Mirjam, they wear the yellow band to show they are on remand, in other words in custody but not yet convicted. Remand prisoners have different rules and conditions so need to be able to be distinguished from convicted priisoners. hope that helps!

AROMA i dont think this storyline is ment to be racist. I think they are just trying to create awareness of situations that happen to people. Mercy is from Nigeria and because her parents brought her to the uk when she was 9 she still only had a Nigerian passport. Its not racist its just the Law that they are trying to show on the programme. Im sure if she applied for a british passport she would have been accepted seeming as she had been here since a child. I dont know if she gets caught being illegal imagrant because i havent seen the episode(fingerscrossed she wont).

Other than that loving eastenders at the moment. So glad Kat and Alfie have Tommy back. Feel sad for Jack though. Bring on some more amazing episodes=) Addicted to them at the moment!!!

AROMA-In what way is that racist? Illegal immigrants from Nigeria do exist, as do illegal immigrants from many other countries. It's just a story line like any other.

Well Ryan was a useless brother and I am afaird will be no help to poor whitney, sorry but he didn't want to know anything when she was asking somewhere to stay! after leaving ricky's house after the agurement with Carol! which she had to go cause she quiet rightly couldn't stand living in the same household as her after being taken in by another badden Connor! think he should just go for good! Samantha Womack is just so amazing her performance on tuesday, monday and friday night was totally spell binding just loved it!!! so amazing hope she doesn't go for long!

So happy Kat and Alfie have Tommy back they are staring to look happy as a couple :-). So annoyed that fatboy's dad has reported Mercy for being an illegal immigrant really like her character and hope she stays for a while. Really am not looking forward to the scenes with Witney and Ryan as he bores me , but I enjoy watching Witney on occasion overall it looks like a good week.

Ronnie Mitchell makes for one of the best written characters since the soap started ( I've watched it since the beginning). By comparison most of the other characters tend to turn-out as caricatures of themselves, affording us a good giggle as well as the odd boohing. Some of the story lines have sometimes superseded the characters, but Ronnie's relentless veracity in the face of an adverse plot(s), made the perfect fit for this complex character. I would hope for Ronnie's character to not leave as the self-defeated 'baddy', but to somehow find the strength (despite the awful life she's been granted) to build herself up again in full view of the audience, rather than a cheesy exit cue only to emerge some years later from Tibet or something, if her 'other' plans don't work out - or returns as a legend gracing the Vic's doorstep. Please show her some mercy.

Ronnie is a great actress, i love to pieces.. well done. please i dont want Mercy to leave, really like to see her end up with fatboy, they fit each other and i hate fatboys dad for calling the cops for her. i love u mercy

Samantha Womack was /is great as Ronnie. It`s such a shame that she wasn`t even nominated as Best Actress in BSA, she`s by far the best actress in EE.
As for Ryan coming back, I`m pleased to see him.
I think Fatboy`s dad reported Mercy because he thought she was cheating on his son with Seb. I hate it when families interfere in relationships.

I am glad Kirkwood has decides to approach the issue regarding illegal immigration via Mercy...and he has nailed it! I can't wait to see how the matters is dealt in EastEnders and if it's shows what really goes on in our country. Well done!

I hope kat gets happy since she has got her baby back and she is still upset about the whole thing! aww tiffany looks so cute in her dress, i really do think mo should be more in it because she is a really good character and is very funny maybe she should be in a upcoming storyline soon? and meet fat elvis, i am really wondering who he is :l . Sooo happy that Ryan is back, can't wait to see him :D xx

I don't think this is fair on Ronnie soo..

I have an idea about the baby-swap storyline. Such as;
- Some days or weeks pass and Tommy gets ill, so Kat && Alfie take him to the hospital, then later on they find out by the nurse that, that isn't Tommy. It's actually James. They reveal that they have been accidentally swapped at birth. So after this time Ronnie actually took James, not Tommy. Then Ronnie gets out of jail.

Would actually be nice to have someone GOOD happen to Ronnie for once.

What a good week. I feel sorry for jack that the baby he thought was his isnt and his baby died :(.
