Shane Richie returned to Albert Square in September as cheeky chancer Alfie Moon. He's since lit up our screens with his cheeky smile and infectious laughter. He's also made us weep as we've shared his anguish over his strained marriage and distress over baby Tommy.

Jessie Wallace made a massive impact as she arrived with bump, quite literally, as she stepped backÌýinto the SquareÌýas heavily pregnantÌýKat Moon. Since her comeback she's faced an incredible journey which has seen Jessie deliver amazing performances.

Sam has been snubbed again. Lindsay gave a great performance in that episode, but she was nominated for best actress too and didn’t make it. Sam has had months and months of dramatic performances and is not even nominated. She has been fantastic. The least EE can do is show their appreciation by nominating her.
