weird seeing David in the square, will be nice to see him back on our screens though, will have to start watching again now, had stopped as it got too miserable for me, hope his character jollies up the show a bit,

All the people who only know David as 'a seventies pop star' are going to be blown away by the sheer genius of an actor David Essex is he never fails to amaze his fans with whatever he does 'prepare to be amazed !

Obviously he won't die, it's his first episode and it's the brilliant actor and 70's pop icon David Essex. David's legion of female fans will probably tune in and boost EastEnders ratings even higher! Can't wait to see Eddie Moon arrive and settle in on the square, I reckon he'll be a modern day Frank Butcher, although Frank will never be replaced - that husky laugh and who could forget the bow-tie!

I wonder if there'll be a romance between Eddie Moon and Mo Harris? Or maybe an Eddie/Mo/Pat love triangle - would be nice to see and re-visit Mo and Pat's rocky past again!

Amy is soo cutee i hope he stays in for a while so he can cheer alfie up and i am glad he saves amy from carol because if amy died she would never live that down even though i dont like carol too many child deaths this year defo!!!!!!!!!!!

Where was Roxy when Amy escaped? This child is a modern day Houdini!! She always gets out!!! :D She's adorable though!!

This is fantastic news to see David at his best! I dont know where he finds the energy or the time? I have been a fan of David's since the 70's and he has never stopped! we have the privalge of a new album and tour every year, plus he is touring with his very own musical All the fun of the fair again! also David is due to star in two films later this year! I just hope that the critics give him the support he deservers because he is a legend! Rock on David!
