She's been supporting her mum through radiotherapy and chemotherapy, making her a mix CD (defining tune, Barbie Girl by Aqua)Ìýand cooking her up rice pudding and toast, just like Tanya used to when Lauren was small. Sob.
Next week we'll have the first of three new Lauren diaries
But before you get access to more of her video secrets, we thought we would break down the workings of her mind into a PIE CHART. It's proper scientific... Plus after that, we take a look at her style...

She's had her heart broken by Ryan, broke up Jodie and Darren's relationship (oops), sent her dad packing,Ìýwatched as Jack and Ronnie fell apart, hung out with her mates, navigated Tanya, Rainie and Cora's many fall-outs, and this week marks the anniversary of her cousin and friend Billie's death. But by far the thing that's dominated her thoughts is her mum's cancer treatment and the pressure of keeping it a secret from the rest of her family. Could you cope with the year she's had?
ÌýMeanwhile, we can't leave without a mention of Lauren's style. I want that leather jacket. That is all.

Jacqueline Jossa has really made the role of Lauren her own, and is probably most successful re-cast in the show's history after Mark Fowler and Peggy Mitchell. Lauren's really grown on me - it took me a while to warm to her when she returned but now she's fantastic. I love Lauren's friendship with Whitney and I hope that continues. The scenes Lauren's had with Tanya supporting her through her cancer have been amazing, but extremely sad and so well acted. Lauren and Carol together are always really enjoyable to watch. Lauren's one of my favourite young characters in the show right now - and I hope she's in the show for a long time to come and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for Lauren Branning!

Word is Lauren has condition which will only be uncovered by the traumatic events she goes through.
No normal teenager tries to kill their Dad. She is a control freak, she wants to control everyone but when it comes down to it she is just like everyone else.
The character of Lauren is in a similar area where the character of Stacey was 5 years ago. I don't think they will go down the bi-polar route with Lauren as that has already been done but something like Impulse Control Disorder comes to mind for Lauren.
But before all this we have a possible route of Panic Stress for Whitney who is obviously struggling with her ordeal.
