I knew Jessie would be nominated again and possibly win, despite Kat being an awful character and Jessie’s acting not being consistent and most of the time hammy and bizarre. She is winning because of her past glory and thanks to multivoting. Where are Jo Joyner and Samantha Womack? They are both head and shoulders above her and deserve to be nominated more than Jessie. It is becoming all too predictable now.

I dont agree with mr potato head (Max) winning anything he is a bad actor and alot of the better actors in eastenders deserve to be recognised like Michael moon for one, just my opinion though im sure alot of people like him, just not the majority!

    What a tough, tough desicion!

Lindsey, Jessie, Steve, Nina, Nitin and Jake are all such incredible and versatile actors - and a joy to watch. Lindsey Coulson is one of the most talented actresses on British TV - this was proved during Carol's reaction to Billie's death which was possibly the best and most real acting I've ever seen in EastEnders. Carol is just a fantastic character. Jessie is fantastic - even though Kat is so unlikeable, rude and grumpy at the moment. With Lacey gone, I'll be surprised if Jessie doesn't win, because she appeals most to the demographic who vote, which is a pity because there are other extremely talented and more consistent actors which deserves some recognition and accolades. Steve McFadden is an outstanding actor - he can Phil on alcohol, drugs or just arguing with Shirley so, so well. He was amazing with Rainie during Phil's crack storyline. Nina and Nitin are just so consistent - I love the Masoods so, so much. Their on-screen chemistry is electric, and I hope they get some awards because they'll be completely deserved. Masood and Zainab are meant to be - they were married for 28 years, had four kids together but I do think throwing Yusef into the mix is a real treat. Jake's incredible aswell - I could just watch him all day, I really miss Max at the moment, so hopefully it's not too long before he's back and supporting Tanya through her illness. Such a tough choice to make, but I feel Lindsey just has that cutting edge...

Jacqueline Jossa's been amazing and has really made the role of Lauren Branning her own. It's always strange watching a different actor or actress come in to play a well-known actor but this casting was fantastic. The scenes between Lauren and Tanya when she found out about her cancer were just brilliant. I love Lauren's friendship with Whitney - they're like a modern day Michelle and Sharon! I hope Jacqueline wins - because she deserves it.

I think the difficulty in deciding who to vote Best Serial Drama Performance just proves the extremely high standard and consistency amongst the cast. Fingers and toes all crossed for EastEnders. Best of luck.

For the first time ever I haven`t voted for EE because it is now total rubbish. I voted Nina as best actress though. That is the only vote EE got from me & it is the only evening soap that I watch. As for Steve being nominated as best actor, (Steve McFadden, actor. Oxymoron)he can`t do long speeches, just short lines such `put the kettle on`, don`t serve him`, ` he`s barred`. You`d save money if you paid him by the word, he`d be broke though. His only `talent` is that he can play a drunk - so can I but I don`t consider myself an actor, lots of people can play convincing drunks. Jessie is another joke nomination. Where is Samantha Womack`s nomination? It was a very poor story saved by Sam`s acting ability. She was the real talent but has been ignored, yet again.

@walford fanatic - totally agree with you about the episode where billie was found. it is one of my all-time favourites. such a powerful performance. it's true, it's a really tough choice but that's a good thing!

@clare and clarkster - glad to see two like minds!

    I totally agree with queenarumlily.
What a surprise, Jessie is nominated again.
Sam Womack is the deserving nominee in that poor storyline. She was the outstanding performer there and completely outshone Jessie, but for some completely unexplained reason has been overlooked again in favour of teacher’s pet J. Wallace.
Things like these make awards a joke as they are about favouritism and talent is overlooked.

I voted for Jacaqueline because she has really made Lauren her own charcter!

  • Comment number 18.

I voted for Jacqueline because she played the role fantastic when she heard bout the cancer n being there for her mum just bought a tear to my face, Eastenders have always wrote fantastic scripts and the actors/actresses have done a fab job in following the role, I also like the way insey played her role as well so well done to all xx
