I Love Pat: Celebrate a Walford Legend

Nickie | 08:00 UK time, Tuesday, 27 December 2011

She's a style icon, a seductress, a port in a storm for Walford's waifs and strays - and she's worn more earrings than you've had hot dinners (probably).

I think my favourite Pat moment is when Peggy found out about her and Frank's affair when Peggy was married to Frank, and they are all standing at the the bar on firework night, I love it when Peggy slaps them both , right in the front of the punters in the pub! "Hope you enjoyed the fireowrks, GODD NIGHT!" Classic line!

I think Frank was the one that really loved Pat , with his cheekiness and wicked ways , he was the only man to make her smile! The classic other moment has to be Frank standing on Pat's doorstep naked except for a bow tie that spins!

I am very sorry to see Pat go! She's a wonderful character and person, Albert Square shall miss. My favorite storyline is from not so long ago; I found it hilarious when Pat en Peggy had to much vodka and ended up drunk in the icecream-van. Of course there are many more, what about the holiday in Spain with Roy, Peggy, Frank, Irene and Terry?
To Pam st Clement I would like to say, thank you for giving us, the vieuwers, more than twenty-five years of Pat.

I am so glad Pat is going to get her own special exit theme, just like Peggy, Pat truly deserves it

I must agree with Katie Fraser, I do love the classic firework line, despite I wasn't even old enough at the time to be able to see the episode, whenever I see the moment on the Eastenders programmes etc, it really is a classic moment.

Although I do dislike Pat, I just can't imagine Eastenders without her, she's one of those characters you love to hate I think haha.

Very well performed Pat. You did that well. Also the previous episode where you're back in the Vic after getting out of hospital, and you're looking around seeing your friends all around, and they're playing The Good Life. Very moving. The long close up on your face in that scene was really well acted. Convincing and moving. Thank you x

I am in the US and view episodes years later after original air dates. Sorry to hear that Pat's character will end on EastEnders. She was an original.
