This week we released an update to the 主播大秀 iPlayer Radio apps for Android and iOS as well as an improvement to the desktop iPlayer Radio console.

There are around 1,200 hours of content available on 主播大秀 iPlayer at any one time... So exposing the breadth of content available, without getting in the way of those users who have come with something specific in mind, was a key consideration.

Before we began work we already had a lot of data and user feedback about likes and dislikes with the existing iPlayer website. This was fed into the design process helping to shape wireframes and UX along with the 主播大秀 requirements of standards and guidelines.

The new iPlayer has been designed for a multiscreen world, so the experience is consistent, but optimised across PC, tablet, mobile and TV devices and we've built it in such a way that we can rapidly develop and release new features across those four screens.
News Archive Connected Studio: Build Studio
Eight indy teams who successfully wowed us at the Connected Studio event in January came to build prototypes and hone their ideas. We were housed in the Titanic Centre in Belfast, long hours sat on chairs rumoured to have been聽made for聽the ship itself.
