Great episode! Some proper drama (poor Stephen) and recognition of Jay as a character at last! But I thought the convo between Marla & Catherine was a bit cheesy..

OMG! stephen know's now, but i hope it wont change anything between olive and stephen cause i really glad there finially back together again! :D

Aww Marla looking at them photos of her and Jay i would love for him to turn up at her party don't get me wrong i like Marla and Elliot i just like Marla and Jay better. Toni going mad lol. Can't wait to see Marla's party.

Catherine told olive she had her radio 1 interview the next day so therefore she can't spend it with Marla.

I really hope stephen starts to cause hell in the houshold now and ruin Marla's Birthday. That would be Hilario! I'd love to see Marla and stephen Scrap! Marla would easy take him tho.

Monthebiff, I agree with you! It would be awesome to see Marla go against Stephen! We haven't really seen that since the series one episode 'Platform 9', and that was before we really knew the characters properly anyway. :)

OhMyGossh! Jay's face in Series 2! So more foreshadowing? Hope he extensively explains where the heck he's been! So Marla's still thinking about him while she's with Elliot, huh? I think she likes Jay a lot lot more than Elliot. Remember when an episode started with the girls' dreams and Marla dreamt of Jay's words? Although she later got together with Elliot. Thing is, I don't think she would be with Elliot if not for her mum. Remember, she said something to the effect of "you're going to be 18 soon and you don't have a boyfriend you don't want people to think there's something wrong with you.." I think she really does like Elliot but I think she would've waited on Jay if not for the desperation to please her mother. Something tells me Marla's 18th will be verrry interesting! :D

Honestly, I was rolling my eyes at Olive this ep. I hope she knows she can only blame herself when it all goes downhill. Alex may not be the most reliable guy but she should take heed... even though he's just trying to tell her Stephen's a bad guy for his own benefit.

So Mack & Toni, eh? I guess his spells the end for Rory & Toni after losing Olive at the trip. Mack & Toni are like a reflection of Olive and Stephen: she says she hates him sometimes and he treats her like dirt but she keeps going back, it appears. Except Olive is a bit more innocent whilst Toni knows she's messing with a married man. And know Stephen knows. Didn't Marla say something about Stephen being a bit more unstable than he seemed? At least when their mum disappeared that time. I'd tell everyone on the mews to clear a space 'cause I think Stephen may cause a lot of trouble after seeing what he saw. *Salivates in anticipation*

Black_Vine - I agree with everything you have just said there. Especially the bit about Toni being like Olive and Stephen being like Mack, Some famous poet said that children are a reflection of their parent but I'm sure it means the same for guardians because of the whole environment element.

I hope Stephen kicks off at Marla's party it would just allow the whole thing to go out and for olive to know that earlier on in the series Toni was lying to her.

Finally Jay is coming back he is by far the best character in the series! Although the others are good also! The suspense to see Jay is killing me though!x

Hay Guys, was that not by far the most exciting and jaw-dropping episode after wibledom?! Whoa, sooo I guess that Toni and Mac are still into each other... Atually I don`t mind Stephen with Olive-weird for me-I think he loves her and she loves him. Stephen seemed more light hearted and little joke here and there. Maybe Olive will finally be the making of him. Did any of you catch the text off Olive?-I think it said,'Hurry Back'. Hmmm... I really pity Mr Andrews, he really likes Toni and she still-half half-likes Mac! Can`t wait for the next episode. yeah he's older but he's like daddy and mummy's prince isn't he. Like marla's more independant because she doesn't want much to do with them.

Teamtommyolive - My favourite character on the cut is Olive, look her style and how she is so sweet and innocent and shy.
I really think Olive and Stephen are so cute together and they are just so suited for each other, so long as Stephen treats her right, and no more lies!
I'm hoping for a happy ending for them two :D

btw i just made a complaint to the Ö÷²¥´óÐã myself, through their website about the closure of Ö÷²¥´óÐã switch, i asked for a reply and it said i should expect to hear within the next 10 days, so hopefully they will get back to me and see what they have to say.

I have just sent an email to about 4 different area's of the Ö÷²¥´óÐã. It's now ridiculous I have read through a load of reports and they have stated that teenagers are happy with Ö÷²¥´óÐã Switch but they think that it sounds like the writers are trying to be "too cool" and that people are watching channel 4 instead but channel 4 doesn't have a website that teenagers can go to 24/7 do they? NO! They are closing down the one thing that makes them relate to us and the one thing that is there advertising point to all teenagers. It's stupid they should realise that if they advertised Ö÷²¥´óÐã Switch better then they may get more people I only found this about 6 months ago when IPLAYER suggested that I watched it. None of my friends or family knew about it because it's not advertised enough.


We all need to send an email or a letter or something in because if they get enough complaints then they might listen and say that they will give it some more time to consider.

@MusicGirl320 EXACTLY! i'm so annoyed at them. They really should've advertised it better. I stumbled across the cut last saturday changing the channel. The only other time I've heard of it was when I saw a poster of tommy in a magazine, but that's all. This really is a disappointment. Why aren't there any tv ads? I was definitely shocked to find there was no facebook page. The cut producers should hire us as a street team, or something ;p

Ok Guys, Basicly from what I have gathered from that News paper artical the Ö÷²¥´óÐã got pressurised from people writing complaints which means we all have to write complaints to stop the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Switch from closing but emphisising that we love the cut.
I've done mine and so's kitty mitty luck to the rest of you ask everyone you know to write a letter of complaint:)

Well on the news they said they were saving Ö÷²¥´óÐã radio 6 but nothing else, i think the decision has already been made for Ö÷²¥´óÐã switch as that newspaper article is dated 5th July, and even Vicki has confirmed since then the closure of Ö÷²¥´óÐã switch in december.

I've already sent an email of complaint. Should I send a letter too? I think as a last resort we should ask E4 to buy the Cut..

Kittymitty it says that it's not definate on the article they said it was definate for bbc blast but not bbc switch

I think the presenters do try to be too cool - The Cut is the only thing I watch on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Switch, I find the 5:19 Show incredibly cheesy, and on the Auditions Special versions of The Cut, the way Vicki and Chris presented them was utterly cringeable and not really professional. (Sorry, Vicki!)

Yes, I think the decision has been made, but it's not unheard of for the Ö÷²¥´óÐã to change their minds. It's rare, but it does happen. I am thinking of the sitcom Not Going Out, which was axed in March last year, but was given a reprieve later.

If bbc switch did close down and E4 brought the cut it would be pretty cool but still it wouldn't be the same.
i've signed both the petitions and hopefully by the help of everyone maybe bbc switch can be saved {at least there's hope}

E4 would overproduce The Cut like it did with Skins i reckon!

Plus I don't want The Cut to be interrupted with commercials every few minutes!
