Having Breakfast with Five Live

BERLIN - I'm busy putting together video diaries of the Five Live staff out here in Germany - so if you want me to ask your question to one of our presenters out here, such as Nicky Campbell or Victoria Derbyshire, or one of our reporters like Gordon Farquhar or Philo Holland, then let me know and I'll try to get them to answer it for you.

We've just finished the first of two broadcasts of Five Live's Breakfast programme from the capital, which is buzzing with plenty of Brazilian fans enjoying the heat - Latin rhythms and referees' whistles ring out across the city.
We were up until the early hours of this morning trying to salvage our broadcast lines, which hadn't been installed in the cafe which was to be our broadcast location.
But thankfully, by 2am Berlin time, we had our studio set up in a terrific location, directly in front of the Brandenburg Gate. Spectacular.
One more Breakfast show from here (hopefully with Alan Shearer, who's staying at a hotel just around the corner) and then it's back off to Nuremberg, to warm up for England's next group game against Trinidad & Tobago.
Did I say warm up? Actually, there's no need for that…
Thank God for air-conditioned trains - it was a four-hour journey from Frankfurt to Berlin at the weekend, in a standard-class Deutsche Bahn carriage that puts the majority of the UK's first class rail services to shame. It's a blessing, for as you may have heard from the England players, it's pretty hot out here.
Berlin's got a very different feel from the England-dominated Frankfurt we saw on Saturday. An estimated 40,000 supporters who hadn't managed to get a ticket for England's opener against Paraguay poured into the Fan Fest enclosure on the banks of the river Main, turning the stands red and white.
The sun blazed out of a sky punctuated only by a couple of helicopters taking in the explosion of colour either side of the giant screen above the water.
The crowd were encouraged by the German Red Cross to "keep drinking in this hot weather", which the fans interpreted in their own way - it's my guess that the announcement was referring to water, but hey. The majority were being surprisingly sensible, plastering reddening shoulders with sun block.
And it was good of the fire department to tip up and start to spray a cooling mist into the air to combat the scorching heat. Nice touch.

Please ask Nicky how he is coping without his beloved Scottish team at the WC? Is he pining for those 1-0 defeats to the likes of Costa Rica?

Why is Nicky Campbell even in Germany at the expense of Ö÷²¥´óÐã licence payers? Or has he funded his trip at his own expense? It would be lovely if Mr Campbell would come on and defend the trip to Germany himself on this blog? I am sure if Mr Blair or Mr Prescott had gone to Germany to watch England the media classes would have been up in arms about it.

so how are you coping with partying with the Brazilians all night, broadcasting with the crew all morning, and watching football all day?
