Moyles in Germany

paul_fletcher.gif STUTTGART - The Chris Moyles Radio One breakfast show is being broadcast from here in Germany so we went to visit them this morning to see how it is all going.

Perched high in the hills, Svan took his time tackling some of the gradients - especially as a few wrong turns were involved - but we made it eventually.

Now, you might have an image of pampered celebrity types basking in the lap of luxury and acting slightly reserved towards unfamiliar faces.

Not a bit of it.

Check out our video.

chrismoylesdaynine_203.jpg After the post-show meeting Chris and Comedy Dave were more than happy to show us around their temporary studio and explain how things work.

The crew are staying in chalets in a little village an hour or so east of Stuttgart that really is in the middle of nowhere.

I was expecting pretty spacious accomodation but several people are sharing each chalet - with Dave and Chappers directly above the studio.

There seemed to be a bit of a problem with mosquitoes - Chris and Matt, who looks after the Chris Moyles blog, recent victims.

Producer Rhys then explained that the owners of the complex have developed the unwanted habit of cooking en masse for all the crew despite being told not to do so and then charging Radio One for the expense.

A dozen unwanted schnitzels were followed the next day by 12 unwanted breakfasts, resulting in a frank exchange that has resulted in the crew venturing out to a nearby Italian for their meals.

We sat in the garden while our 主播大秀 World webcam failed to work once again and Rhys regaled us with some fantastic stories from down the years.

As we left Rhys and Matt came to wave us off - with Rhys explaining that he had once shared a camper van with four others, Mark and Lard among them, at a very muddy Glastonbury.

The gory details of the story made me look at Svan in a whole new light.

Don't forget to for the chance to win some
fabulous Sport Relief prizes, including a Pele-signed table football and
our very own Shevchenko-signed Fletch and Ricco t-shirts.

Fletch, sounds like a quality journey to me (sorted). I've been sporting one of your quality Blog t-shirts which may require an airing at the Reading Festival 2006 (complimentas of Roacho).
The Svan sounds the business but has it got a split screen circa Tom Finney + a few years.
I've got to say I managed to watch the Argie V Serbia & Montenegro and it was a worringly efficient display. We need to save them for the second half of the draw.
Anyhow lovin the blog my son. Look forward to hooking up after the WC 06

Is Chris Moyles going grey? Did you actually catch up with him during the show or after it?

How's Svan bearing up? Hope s/he is doing well and not suffering altitude sickness?

So many questions. Not enough answers.

Feralmoggy - the great man is showing signs of age in the old hair department.

Svan's doing great now we've got the immobiliser fixed but taking him up dale and down vale was quite an experience on narrow roads

That enough answers?

It might be very good show and its works are also very interesting. I am very happy that you are publishing news about different things and the news of football becomes more available through this blog which is not so easy to get it from elsewhere.
Thanks Paul for your informative article.
