Louise White asks - should smoking in cars carrying children be a criminal offence?

Lib Dem MSP for South of Scotland Jim Hume will formally launch his bid to give more children the best start in life by banning smoking in cars with children present. The event outside the parliament, taking place on Tuesday 15th December will formally mark the bill being laid at Holyrood.

The progressive initiative has already achieved cross party support and the support of several of Scotland's biggest charities.
