The Greatest Day at school

Pupils and staff at Weobley Primary School, in Herefordshire, got a shock recently when Take That joined them for their assembly!
Ìý
It was all thanks to year three teacher, and super fan, Sarah O'Neil who was one of three Take That fans who were chosen to be filmed for a car advert.
Ìý
It was shown during last night's broadcast of The Voice on ITV.

TV appearance

A Malvern musician, who's topped the British and Irish country music charts on a number of occasions, is to have one of his gigs broadcast on Sky TV.
Ìý
Clive John, who also fronts the Johnny Cash Roadshow, had one of his original concerts filmed for Keep It Country.
Ìý
In this episode, he also talks about one of more unusual gigs that required a private jet and a speedboat!

On stage proposal

A Rod Stewart tribute artist, from Worcester, has proposed to his girlfriend...in front of the actual man!
Ìý
Stan Terry had been asked to sing for Rod's sister to celebrate her 90th birthday when the superstar walked into the room during the gig.
Ìý
Stan says Rod told him he enjoyed the performance and was amazed he knew all of his song's lyrics - before using the opportunity to get down on one knee!

John Bonham memorial gig

Tickets have gone on sale for the second John Bonham memorial gig, in Redditch, which is extended to a two day celebration this year.
Ìý
'A Celebration 2' is happening on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 September and will also celebrate 50 years since the Led Zeppelin II album was released.
Ìý
There will be free gigs in the pubs of Redditch with the main event taking place in the Festival Marquee.

Be Kinder day

Couldn't we all use a little more kindness sometimes?
Ìý
One family, whose members span from Ashton under Hill, near Evesham, to Australia certainly think so - that's why they've launched Be Kinder day, which will take place on the June 22.
Ìý
The event was set up in memory of Billie Kinder, a 12-year-old girl, who was tragically killed in a horse riding accident in 2016.
Ìý
The family are now on a mission to spread their message throughout schools in the UK after a successful campaign in Australia.
