In addition Yair raised his voice for peace and has done a lot to promote this issue, starting with recordings at Oslo with Palestinian musicians and all the way with other Arab and Beduinian ones. Yair , great violin and oud player exposed many
listeners to Iraqi/Persian/Baduinian music and all that with a lot of talent and sensitivity. He's my man whenever I miss the desert wind and sound of camels crosing the dunes. Yairs latest album , Asmar, is a masterpiece mixing Iraqi Morocan and Persian music and what a joy it brings to my ears every time over an over. Thanks Yair.'
