I thought you were very quiet! wishing you a speedy recovery. library books-on-tape? I have friend who lost his arm from the elbow and down. you'd never know. he can do most things inc operate his own machinery business. sorry not a 'speedy' recovery! thats what caused it all! a safe and gentle recovery.

Aw, poor wee sunny. Keep receipts for the taxis, send them to the insurance co. Fraid its only value you get back, not a nice new one. You might be able to get the insurance to pay for a carer, now theres a thought. I would say take care, but its either too late or not necessary as you cant get up to anything exciting anyway. Ps, if you have a vice then opening screw tops is no problemo

Uncross them fingers right now! A write-off might be better than a mend-and-mak-do. At least, according to my pu's (oh dear looks like pus, most unfortunate) who once had a new and still being paid for Sunny (true!) which a slightly distracted molasses tanker-driver ran into the back of: it wasn't a write-off and was never quite the same again after being mended, though it went on to do 125,000 miles and only went to the big scrapheap in the sky after its bottom rusted out. Still, probably better a rusty bottom than a broke scaphoid. Purrrrrrmrrrrrrrp. (cat sympathy).

Maybe we should start a "cheer up Sunny" campaign - calumanabel to be in charge of organising the event. And the rest of us will take turns at taking you to the toilet, getting you dressed, putting you to bed, cooking healthy nourishing soups etc, feeding you said soup, etc, oh yes and driving you wherever and whenever the mood takes you. what would we call our cause? the Sunny campaign... Sunny side up?... watch out Sunny's about.... any better suggestions!!??

Hi Sunny. Strange things are going on with the blog - for some reason my comment didn't get posted and there hasn't been any reply from Auntie to explain what the problem is. Thankfully I see some postings have now gone up. You must have thought people didnt care - not true. I'm sure everyone who reads the blog will be sorry to hear of your accident and understand how scary deer can be when they appear from no where. Here in North Mull the numbers of deer seem to be higher than I can ever remember and they seem likly to increase. A large area of new woodland is being planted between Calgary and Torloisk , the new fence has forcing the deer to move to other ground. This would not have been a particular problem when more people were involved in " freelance freezer filling" but times have changed. I have seen way more deer this year between Dervaig and Tobermory but that's not a quick road otherwise I would imagine we would have seen accidents like yours. Sunny, sorry again to hear of your prang and I hope things work out.

Seemingly this care & concern comment hit the 主播大秀 barriers then Graham's colleagues put the skids on it and it didn't complete its journey to the site. I can't remember exactly what was in it so I'm having to rely on a new for old replacement policy. Sorry it's not very shiny. All the best for a quick recovery.

Thanks everybody! Think IBHQ might have gone part time with the delays! I definitely don't need a carer! I have a willing band of helpers and mostly get picked up within five minutes of starting to hitch as long as i stick 2 the coast road. Have worked out how 2 do most things 1 handed but still struggle with cork screws. Jeremy must've missed the ferry!
