tis Christmas eve, and there no snow, in fact there's no rain, no wind, no sun - its a really nice day - not even cold. I have a primrose in a pot that's decided to bloom, today. Isn't that nice!

I got a text from a friend - saying that if there had been 3 wise women instead of 3 wise men, they would have asked directions, arrived in time to help deliver the baby, cleaned the stable, brought practical presents, and made a casserole. Oh and there would be peace on Earth.

I'm exhausted, the house is clean, the children fed, (though complaining about the lack of meat) my bedroom is a tip (cos everything that's not being used is dumped in there) and everything that needs ironed, dusted, tidied, washed, has been done. if tinsel can hang on it, its there. If it can be bought, I've bought it. If it is on my visiting list to be visited, I've visited it.

And I think we're happy!!

its the end of the year - thank god some things have come to an end, and thank god that some things are just starting. As my life is starting to take shape again, I want to start the year with a fresh page.

there are some loose ends: a big thank you to all my friends who have supported me through this last year, its been invaluable. the blog friends - you've all helped too.

Life changes, its never boring - it may hurt like hell, but it constantly changes. And sometimes those changes are for the better.

I'm off to Edinburgh for the New Year - with good friends, and will be visiting IKEA to get furniture for my new house. (there, I can say it with a {genuine} smile on my face)
