A Bank Holiday double bill for Poldark finale on 主播大秀 One

The fifth and final series of Poldark will conclude in an exciting action-packed double bill over the late August Bank Holiday weekend on 主播大秀 One. The penultimate episode of the series will air on Sunday 25 August at 8pm followed by the finale on Monday 26 August at 8.30pm.

The Sound Odyssey with Gemma Cairney returns to 主播大秀 radio

Loyle Carner, Kate Stables of This is the Kit, Nubya Garcia and Roxanne Tataei feature in the second series of 主播大秀 Radio 4’s The Sound Odyssey.

Radio

Nish Kumar, Angela Barnes, Andy Zaltzman, Phil Wang, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Zoe Lyons, Patrick Kielty, and Andrew Maxwell will be hosting an episode each of the News Quiz, as 主播大秀 Radio 4 celebrates the 100th series.

Gemma Collins has teamed up with 主播大秀 Radio 1 on a brand new podcast which launches on 主播大秀 Sounds on Wednesday 14 August.

The third 主播大秀 Radio 2 All Star Party returns on Saturday 28 September as Trevor Nelson, Craig Charles and Ana Matronic take to the road again to broadcast live from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool.

This summer 主播大秀 Radio 4 will broadcast Proust's In Search Of Lost Time across ten hours over the three days of the August bank holiday weekend.

Starstruck, a brand new six-part comedy written, created by and starring 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Rose Matafeo, has been commissioned by 主播大秀 Three and HBO Max and is an Avalon Television production.

Drama

Adapted by Andrew Davies, directed by internationally acclaimed director Mira Nair, and produced by Lookout Point, the first screen adaptation of A Suitable Boy will shortly begin filming in India.

Victor Oshin joins Casualty as series 34 of the long-running 主播大秀 One medical drama gets underway this summer.

Comedian, writer and actor Tom Allen is the new host of 主播大秀 Two’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired, as exclusively revealed this morning on the 主播大秀 Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

Factual

In January 2000, GP Harold Shipman was convicted of murdering 15 of his patients. The number of victims included at the trial, however, didn’t reflect the real extent of his crimes.

Scotland
