My name is Chris Smart and i am a serving soldier, i would just like to say i listen to your show everyday and it is superb, it dosnt matter what kind of day i am going to have you and your team always cheers me up.

I love chris' show and i listen every morning from seven when i get up until eight when i go to work. He is easily the best dj/presenter on the radio at this present time and has the best sense of humour i know. He can sing better than Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra and Robbie Williams put into one body.I love him. Can he put his version of Lilly Allen's Smile on the internet so people can download it because it is obviously the best song since Smile.

Went to the pub after tho and my mate who dj's (he could be ur double) played all the world cup classics. The place went mad and beer went everywhere when vindaloo came on.

well just want u to know that i am a scot supporting england all the way (yes there is one of us) the only problem is although they won earlier i cant see them winning as the performance was well under par except for dare i say it shrek who played brilliantly when he came on.

Sounds like an ace time you lot are having out there. Cant go wrong with a bit of moyles in the morning.

It always perks me up on the way to work. It also keeps me on check with the time so i know if im late or not! (not that im ever late 0:-) ) Hehe. But it is the perfect job as i dont work during the england games (SAFE!!!)

The new jingles are great, and loving the football song you guys have made. Hehe.

I was listening this morning to the show and I haven't laughed like that in a long time! Dave was hilarious with the dogs this morning & your game of hide & seek. Sorry I shouldn't laugh at other people's misery but I thought it was very funny. He sounded like a scared little boy!! Poor Chappers with his crusty tissues - shoe stuffing I don't think!!

as a German living in Scotland I have been enjoying your highly entertaining coverage of the world cup and insights to German life (I didn't think you could top Herr Helmut and the Radio Kartoffelsalat from Eurovision, but I was wrong)!

And the German lessons are just priceless - though I don't think you should rely on Dave for pronunciation :D

I have to admit though that waking up to the German adverts on the radio has had me confused a couple of times - "am I at home in Germany?" - then I wake up properly and realise it's Radio 1 having a laugh!

Well, off course I'm rooting for Germany to win, but I hope England do well enough that we get some more hilarious coverage from Germany for the next few weeks.

Well since leaving my last job you have still managed to make me get up every day at6.55am to listen to your show (something my ex could never do) Great work.

Germany seems like an absolute blast, just a shame that Englands performance against Paraguay in the second half was'nt up to the same effort you all put in to making such a great show.

Did you know, that your show gets recommended by English teachers as an additional "tool" to pass CPE-Exams?? So happened to me a few month ago.

Ever since then, my ears are glued "online" and it is thanks to you wonderful people that I now understand difficult lingo like PUB, BOOZE, BEER etc!!

Needless to say, that the current world cup situation makes it double diffulct for me to focus on my exam on Thursday, especially since Switzerland are playing their first game tomorrow against France. As I kept my fingers crossed for England last Saturday, I thought, perhaps you could support us by shouting out loud in unision:

We loved your coverage from Euro 2004, and we're loving your coverage from Germany 2006. We know it must be hard for you guys to spend so much time away from home, drinking all that German beer, watching all those matches in all those beautifully crafted German stadiums, but we the listeners really appreciate the sacrifices you guys make to bring us the true flavour of the World Cup.

Well loved the show on Friday - some corking features!

I saw Dave on Match of the Day today after the Holland-Serbia and Montenegro - which was very exciting, i saw him at the Embrace video shoot cos i was in it :D and wondered what he was doing there - now i know!

fridays show...excellent. Its weird cos you guys sound different, but i actually really enjoyed it. To be honest, i wasnt that excited about it, i mean i am a football fan, but i am scottish haha. But no, it was really good. Ill be tuning in every morning.
