Thank you for all the fantastic photos you've sent in, it's a real pleasure to share your talents and nature's magnificence. The will be open until the end of June for you to upload your photos and join in with the community.

Update 17th June: We've posted the whole show on the blog here.

    Hi
Is the photo club not on freeview tonight, because I was looking forward to watching it after Springwatch but was dissapointed to find that it wasn't working?

    Great photos everyone!

I am very very cross that I could not watch tonight's photo comp on my television as it was only available to those with Sky or Virgin. Why? Surely the Ö÷²¥´óÐã should be providing ALL its programmes to the licence payers.

My favourite has to be: Geese at dusk © Billy Clapham.

The Ö÷²¥´óÐã is showing the same football match on BBc1 as on the red button which is preventing us watching Photo Club - how crazy is that?

Hello. I too have been 'rubbing my thighs' at the Cock Pheasant photo ever since it appeared on the red button 30 mins ago ... wow! The greyscale and 'silvers' working in contrast to the stark, bold colours; the action, the drama ... it's all there

    Hi

I agree with the first 2 comments and was very disappointed that I couldn't watch the photo club

The photos are incredible, it just would have been nice to have enjoyed them with the accompanying chat on freeview as I have the previous times.
    Again - amazing photos.

    Thanks Adam ;)
I am so chuffed to have my shot shown, thanks so much guys :) and yes they were midges, because I was at the telephoto end of my lens the depth of field was small so they were like little specs of light, the lighting just came together with the animals at the just the right time :)
My favourite is probably the pheasant, I think its a stunning piece of wildlife art :)

Yes, I was cross too that the red button was football this evening. I guess it was to provide commentary minus the annoying vuvuzelas. But I don't care - I wanted to see Photo Club!
I love all the photos above, but my favourite is the starlings, just because my garden is full of baby starlings. They make me laugh because they play and squabble just like my two children!

my second favourite is the Dragonfly © Edward Taylor.

I too was very disappointed about not being able to see the photoclub on freeview! I am sick of sport taking priority, whatever! Not everyone gives a *%$"?@~ about football, so why does it always push everything to one side?

As for the photos, the dragonfly 1st and the kite 2nd for me!

Hi all, I know it's small consolation for those who missed it (and I understand your frustration) but we will be posting the whole of Photo Club here on the blog as soon as we can today.

All the photographs are excellent. My favourites are "Displaying Cock Pheasant" by John Mactavish and "Dragonfly" by Edward Taylor. Both stunning pieces of photography.

What a shame that the last one was not on freeview, not all of us have sky you know.

Will it be shown at a later date?

Can anyone enlighten me about an attack from a roe deer toward me some years ago. I was walking along side a canal in Surrey in the early afternoon in May, when I heard running footsteps close behind me . I looked back in time to see a deer head lowered, the mouth open about 1/2 inch from my butt. It bit me then butted me into the cannel and tried to follow me in but the water was very deep. The deers eyes where really wild looking and frightening.I swam down the canal a ways to get away and out. I had broken skin and deep teeth marks on my butt through a pair of shorts! It all happened very fast. Has any one else been bitten by a roe deer when out walking? I didnt see the deer before the attack, it was by a tall garden wall oneside and the canal the other.

My wrens moved from their hanging basket nest into a disused blackbirds nest, about two feet away . They spent two days and nights here, being fed by parents before fledging. is this unusual, no one has commented on it message board??

today i have been watching what i think is a young woodpecker flying, what a strange sight it has been as i have never seen a young one before and what a noise he is making.I have posted some pics on flickr group.
