As winter draws to a close we're marking the occasion with a show of favourites from the .

It's been a strange old winter. The coldest December on record followed by an unusually mild February. Here's to all you who braved the weather and got out there to capture these inspirational shots. We hope to see you all in the which has come out of hibernation today.

    How could anyone not appreciate ALL our UK seasons on seeing these glorious, amazing winter photographs ... and now, spring has sprung again! Thank you, and a very happy St.David's Day to everyone. TB et al.

    These pictures are stunning. I can't choose a favourite, just all absolutely glorious. Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus i bawb (to translate what tedbun wrote into Welsh!)

    The "Lone tree" and "Look into my eye", are my favorites. I just fell in love with a Robin..........
