Great to have Ian Waite back this week :-),going to enjoy watching the show tonight.

Tango night tonight! I'll have to watch a repeat of tonights show tomorrow though because I'm out.. and just hope there'll be some great dances for me to catch up on. I think Ann's dance is going to be memorable (but just a guess, lol).

Team name for Ann and Anton? How about Widdebeke?
Really looking forward to tonight's tangoes and Charlestons. No favourite as yet for me - or with the bookies? ;o)

I just want to say, we were there in the audience (just behind bruno'd left shoulder!) this time last week... It seemed like a dream...! It was very very memorable for me as I've never met people off the tele before... and you guys didn't let me down.. You were all so friendly, particularly Pamela and Craig! I want to say to everyone really really good luck for all your dances... Youll all be Absoultely FAB...UUU...LUUUUSSSS DAAARRRLLLLINNNGS!!! love you all!! xx

@Jo Glad you had a great night! Here's hoping tonight's another corker...

why are the Ö÷²¥´óÐã running late?

The photos showed promise for the show. But, I have given up watching.Tonight's camera work is appalling. I do not need a glass of wine to feel drunk. I am definitely not voting, as I cannot see all the choreography, fancy filming charlestons and not showing the viewer what the dancers' feet are doing! Sorry Strictly, I am not going to watch any more. I will continue to get my dancing fix from Dancing With the Stars on Watch TV, where at least the producer allows the viewer to see the dances and the choreography fully. Sorry Pudsey, you lose out as well, because I will not be phoning and so donating.

great to see Ian back and he's done a great job

poor matt they made him look rediculous :(

oh my widde on a wire! yes this site is really taking that long to refresh

  • Comment number 9.

So glad to see Ian back! It made the show better. I wish we'd see more of him and Darren--and not at another dancer's expense!

I thought Matt and Aliona's Charleston had more character than...than...than a strangely impotent metaphor. But I loved it.

Pamela's still my woman, though. Absolutely dying to see her dance a paso doble now!

Could someone please send Widdie to an expert corsetiere? It would make a change from the ballet and acting lessons and make her marginally less cringemaking to watch. Love her attitude, though!

  • Comment number 11.

Could someone please arrange for the Widdie to be fitted by an expert corsetiere. A figure like hers needs specialist scaffolding.
Love her attitude - and when she attempts dance steps, she's accurate... but some structural support would make her a lot easier to watch.

Every week we are treated to the gross sight of Jimmy Mistry covered in sweat. In eight series I cannot recall any other celeb who gets like this, it's so off putting. Poor Flavia. Time for him to go.

  • Comment number 13.

wish ian were staying too. :-(

Please, Please, Please Strictly sort out your camera work! I have been an avid viewer of Strictly since its creation, and coming from the point of view of someone who is actually a dancer, the viewers need to see shots where you can see the footwork throughout. Also how can we possibly see all the intricacies of the choreography that the dancers have put so much effort into, when it seems that the filming is more concerned with spinning around then letting us see what the dancers are doing.

On a lighter note I was very pleased to see Ian Waite back on the show, he did a fantastic job with Michelle considering the short time he has had with her, and personally I think she looks better dancing with him then Brendan.

The Widdi tango, campest entrance on strictley. I agree with the judges on gavs tango, more aggression. The story behind jim/flavs charlston was brill, and erins outfit for her charlston,,VERY MISS WHIPLASH.
On the whole, another good night with strictley, its mi fav.treat of the week,. sorry to hear of Brendans family mis-fortune,but like all the other supporters,i add mi condolences.
So what are the results going to bring, whose in the bottom two,too close to call. keep danceing, from chris, blackpool.

Really great night's dancing! Like Captain Mouse (above) I worried that poor Matt looked ridiculous in that moustache but when he and Aliona danced their charleston it really made sense. Best dance of the night!!!
Re Craig giving Widdy a higher score than Peter - to be honest Ann did actually dance some tango steps whereas Peter (although he put his all into it and did some good lifts) didn't actually dance any charleston steps at all. I like Peter but he doesn't appear to have any sense of rhythm unfortunately.
Matt, Scott, Kara and Pamela - All terrific dances.
Ann and Anton - Great Entertainment value.
Can't wait to see who we lose tonight - Michelle or Peter maybe?????

  • Comment number 17.

I think Kara and Katya had the best Charleston and Tango outifits. I actually found myself looking at them as much as the dances themseleves.

Bring back Ian. The show is FAB U LOUS but even better with Ian back!!

  • Comment number 20.

Great show - Matt best dance of the night. First time Ive written on here but have the strictly bug

  • Comment number 21.

I am loving this series of Strictly and Erin and the other professionals always gets stunning outfits, but not all of the celebrity dancers are getting the same high standard of dresses. This evening I thought Pamela, Felicity and Michelle's dresses were just dreadful. Unflattering, awful colour clashes and worst of all, not suited to the dances because they obscured their dance steps and moves. Come on - please give all the celebrities the same high standard of design and style, let's have a level playing field on the outfit front!

I was horrified to read the article in the Sun on Saturday 23rd October which was supposed to be an interview with Tom Chambers about Stricly and his time on the show. I always thought he was the wrong winner and having read the article I see I was right. How could he say such things about our favourite show and can anything be done to deny the allegations or perhaps sue him. What a horrible man. This is of course assuming the article is true as the Sun is not reknowned for its accuracy!

Fantastic to have Ian back for a week, please can we have him back for good Ö÷²¥´óÐã, not the same without him.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment number 24.

Please can someone from the Ö÷²¥´óÐã explain why the format for viewers comments is so different this year? The old message board was great with the different threads and on line friendships were formed and little groups. It was a great way to feel a part of the show and it was really addictive. I am very disappointed in it this year.

  • Comment number 25.

Why are the exclusive backstage photo's so bad. The composition is poor, subjects too far away and appear out of focus. Is the person with the pocket camera drunk? I'm sure a young child could take better shots. Complete waste of time. Either get someone to take decent photo's or don't bother. They certainly don't shout 'quality'.
doctordancingdiva - you'll find a lot of messageboarders on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã exiles ROFL website. Come and join in.

  • Comment number 26.

Agree B4p. Most of us could take better photos with our mobiles. The quality is out of focus and generally dire.

  • Comment number 27.

I miss Ian. Would love for him to come back. So tall so elegant, such beautiful movement.
