phew! no tantrums and tiaras so far....

Understand Lulu is shortest and Brendan the tallest in competition this year. This must be an advantage in the latin dancing but surely not such good news for dancing ballroom?

Lulu's showing a good awareness of line already - some people never get that, so this bodes well. Come on, Lulu!

Lulu appears to be a perfectionist, which will impress Brendan. I think they will score very highly with the judges but whether they form a likeable enough team remains to be seen.

I live in the Netherlands and am an avid Strictly Fan. I keep seeing the words 'not available in your area' on all the videos. Could something be done about this? I hate to miss out.

Lulu is doing really well, and she makes a good team with Brendan, hope they go far in the competition!

Well, there's a surprise ! Met Brendan once (it was enough) but THIS Brendan seems .....well,rather nice. Love Lulu and at this initial stage I am impressed. Good luck to both.

good team this year but wait see on the night see how they go... my vote is always Brendan from series one but i like to see how Dan Lobb go as I like him I think he is gorgeous! hope he dance well!!! Poor Anton have Nancy and I be Erin happy with Rory so roll on Sept 30th and Oct 1st.

It looks as if Lulu is determined to give it her all and be the best she can possibly be, so I think they could produce some good routines. However, still not so sure about this pairing though and whether they will bond as well as some of the others. Plus I still wish Lulu had been given the Italian Stallion...

greys:- great beginnings, Lulu has the grit and determination and seems to understand the looks/lines the dancers want, great team, could be a few sparks now and then, have watched Lulu since her teens and also followed my favourite dancer of all time too, cant wait for the start, lets "shout" Brendon and Lulu to win.

Hummm...not nearly enough footage of actual training to form any kind of judgement, really. Just a bit of walking and hitting a few lines. Pieces to camera all bit serious to appeal to me at this stage - I like to see them enjoying themselves a bit more (or has that been edited out so that Brendan and Lulu will be this year's 'driven to win' couple? ;-))

Had another look at Lulu and Brendan rehearsal footage today, too early to say yet - but have a feeling it could end up being rather a fiery partnership - as long as Lulu listens to Brendan and Lulu gives her all they should do well, they are both obviously both very competitive.

It would be far better to show more dancing, and cut down on the chat, on training videos. After all we want to see the action!!

Agree about too much chat but I suspect the celebs don't want to be shown in a bad light too soon in the competition. I think Lulu is a gritty lady and will do well - she seems very flexible and up for the challenge. I wonder about the height difference though. Why didn't they give her to Vincent? A better combination for both of them.

Yes it definitely does scribblingandbibbling and it's easier to say.

Do hope we get a little less chat and a little more 'action' in these daily rehearsal videos - Lulu looks as if she will be quite hard on herself, really looking forward to seeing their first latin dance.

Name suggestions so far are Team 'Brulu' and Team 'Luole'! so get your thinking caps on!

I think the performer in Lulu will help a lot. Hope she can remember the routines. Must be hard for the celebs, having so much info thrown at them in a short space of time. Not sure how the height differences will work if they reach the tango phase.

It is unfair on the Irish fans that we can't see the videos. :(

I Love Strictly, would watch it morning, noon and night, but make me mad is:
1. I cann't vote for my favourite.
2. I can't watch the videos on the website.

Someone I was chatting to elsewhere last night, on Lulu discovering Brendan's Glaswegian dad, suggested Team Weegies! Best name I have seen so far. Hope they do well as there has not been enough Brendan on last few series!

I'm not sure Lulu was being rude, just shocked at being paired with a tall guy, and probably in awe of his fiery reputation. I hope there are a few fireworks otherwise it can all get a bit saccharine with so many luvvies on the programme.(Not that i dont love the luvvies, but a bit of banter is always entertaining and refreshing).;)

Why can't people in Holland watch the rehearsal videos it seems very mean - is it a copyright issue by Ö÷²¥´óÐã? can't someone put them on youtube so they can see them?

can't wait for Friday night and sat night too for the dance to start.. I can't say who yet till I see them dance then i can say who my top are as it difficult with short time practice so wait see on the night so roll on Friday for my lovely Brendan mwah!! I will have to tape it as I am doing the play on stage this night grr!!! can't wait wish time quicker enough for Friday to come hee!

Lulu look quite reasonable so far. Although she has got the talent this is the partnership I have a few concerns over because of the height difference and also her reaction when she was paired with Brendan. There were no signs in that video of tantrums but you can't necessarily deduce anything from a brief video clip. If there are any tantrums we will probably notice them on the backstage footage during the SCD results show and also on ITT. If they are genuinely getting along then the height difference might be their only serious hinderance. How about calling them Team Lucole?
