Alex - You are doing are doing very well and you have a good teacher in James. If you can just increase your confidence in the latin and let go a little more you could replace Anita as the dark horse of the competition.

I actually agreed with what James said - Len has no right in bashing the choreography. At the end of the day James is a professional dancer and the fact is that the choreography SHOULDN'T some under scrutiny. The show is about celebrities learning to dance and performing well. The celebrities aren't going to dance any better or any worse if the choreography is any different! They give constructive criticism to the best and worst dancers and everyone in the middle is almost forgotten about! I really feel sorry for the professional dancers when their choreography is scrutinised because it wasn't just James this week - Aliona and Brendan were also in receipt of critical comments which are just rude and unnecessary from the judges!

Please don't change a thing Alex and James. Strictly is about dancing. If I want to watch a porn show I can look elsewhere. As a ballroom dancing instructor myself, your rumba was first class. As for the judges, I certainly wouldn't employ them at any of my contests. Don't let them fool you they have agendas set out for them, you don't need to be an expert to see that. Keep Dancing

Love Team Jalex, Alex just needs to relax (and listen to James!!) because we'll still love her no matter what & she has the best teacher, can't wait to see their paso! Complaint: i can hardly see James in that picture its like if they are both fighting to be on the camera

Jalex sound like something you put in sinks to get rid of stains! Honestly, these names.

No matter. I do think that perhaps if their is a rivalry between Craig and James it is not doing their form in the contest any good.

Granted Craig did give them an 8 but in week 1 it was a 4, in week 2 it was a 6 and last week it was a 4. Two 4's and a 6 with one 8 as the only good mark. This has a knock-on effect in their finishing. When he (Craig) did award the 8, with the other marks it put her 3rd which she did in week 3. Week 1 she finished in her week 6th and she was 7th last week.

I am not predicting a high finish this week but at least I see her being the strongest Paso Doble with Lulu and Robbie the other two.

I enjoy their dancing but I do not agree with James arguing - he appeared quite agressive and it spoilt the show - I found it uncomfortable! If he was in the right maybe that would be OK to voice his opinion. Regarding "lifts" - if lifts are put in all dances at all times - how do you differentiate? I also think Len was wrong to accept the lift this time (for Lulu) but in the last series he objected and marked a couple down (can't remember who that was at the moment) again quoting the "rules" - you have to be consistent. Alex you have the ability and the looks - just need a bit more confidence in yourself.

Regarding JJ's gob, I do think it does not endear him to Craig and isn't likely to get him a mark any higher than Craig thinks he deserves but if you look at my post above you will see why JJ may be a little miffed. When Craig has given a high mark, since Len, Bruno and Alesha have pretty much been consistent, he and Alex have done well. A high of 3rd. But because Craig's mark has been so low so consistently, Alex and James have struggled consistently. James knows how hard he is working Alex and it must be infuriating to see very little return for so much investment.

Regarding the lifts, it seems some are more than happy to acknowledge SCD as an entertainment show but stop short of allowing the rules to be relaxed.

Alex - don't let Craig put you off. He is only one person! I think Alesha knows more about being sexy than Craig, so listen to her.

Oh Alex, there's lovely. Craig is a judge , he gives his opinion as he sees it of the dance, not of you, as he was at pains to explain on ITT earlier in the week. Come on girl, you are Beautiful (note capital B ) and some of your dances have been exquisite. Didnt Craig give you an 8 the week before? Not all dances suit all and as a modest girl this was always going to be a tough call. Put it behind you, move on. This week you will be fab- u- lous dahling!! Here is a big armchairdancer cuddle. x

Been looking at the marks given by each judge and do not be surprised if Craig awards Alex and James a mark of 4 or 5. EIGHT times he has awarded a couple a 4 and a 5.

Dear Alex do hope you (are recovering have recovered) your confidence after the rumba - hope you saw Craig on ITT explaining that it was the rumba that was stiff and sexless not actually you - he qualified with fact with Zoe that of course as a person you were beautiful and sexy - nearest thing to an apology you are probably going to get from Craig I should imagine. Anyway do hope you have been able to put this behind you now with James' help and are now able to move forward with your paso this evening. Hope all goes well.

I really loved your performance tonight. As soon as i heard the opening bars of the Evanescence track i knew we were in for something special!
(Incidentally, some of you may recall that way back in series 2 Brendan Cole danced the Paso Doble with Sarah Manners to exactly the same track! I thought at the time that that too was an awesome performance!)
It just goes to show how important the choice of song is in setting the scene. It worked beautifully! Well done Alex. I absolutely love your dancing - you are fast becoming my favourite! Hope you're back next week...

Alex your a lovely Dancer and have a great teacher, what i wouldnt do to be a celebrity and be on the show, and to dance with James. I would just like someone to explain to me a couple of things, why if one couple make a mistake, but hey its entertainment, get favourable marks, but if a better dancer makes mistakes, why then are the comments from the judges harsher and only a slightly better mark? Also if there are rules, why are some allowed to get away with breaking them and others cant? Its usually Len who is strict about the Ballroom side of it, but he let Brendan get away with it a couple of weeks ago, yet about series 5? (i think) Len went mad at Brendan for a lift.

Len is the most inconsistent judge- ever! He has clear favourites and dislikes every year. Many of his comments are horribly adolescent and unsuitable. End of rant.

I am a great admirer of Alex she comes across as being very sweet and honest and not at all competitive - James as we all know is very competitive and I think he is doing really well bringing the best from her. Have to say you looked so lovely in the white dress for your paso the other week - do hope your confidence grows and grows as you start to enjoy Strictly more and more. Yes I do hope James is able to keep his temper with the judges - I can understand his frustration but getting so annoyed with them is a waste of energy and it clearly upsets Alex.

No disrespect to Chelsee but it does irritate me that the impression seems to be given on It Takes Two that she is the only one that has to work. I don't know what the position is with many of them but certainly Alex has a full time job. How do I get a message to Zoe to correct the impression given re Chelsee in relation to the other celebrities?

It wasn't until I saw the slow motion replay that I saw that there was still quite a bit of dance left to do (couldn't spot when it occured on the competition night - but Craig did and gave you well-deserved praise for managing with it for the rest of the dance).

Hello Alex I just wanted to pass on my congratulations on how well you are doing and improving now with each dance and as you confidence improves. The calm way you coped with heel cought in dress was amazing. It's obvious how much James likes and respects you and this is showing now in the way you dance together. I now think if you continue to improve as you have been doing you could make the final four which would be amazing - well done Alex (and James)

James and Alex are a perfect strictly couple and deserve to go really far in this years competition. James choreographs amazing routines which really suit Alex, it just goes to prove what a great relationship they have. Alex looks beautiful every single week and you can tell she just loves learning how to dance. Sorry to see there is not more support for this team. I do think that James constantly disagreeing with the judges both on the main show and on ITT may get on some peoples nerves. It used to be Brendan who was the 'bad boy' of the male professionals but James seems to have taken over this year.

Alex, with James as your partner, you can't go wrong - go girl go. James your choreography is perfect to Alex, you dance with her and know what she can realistically do, keep up the good work, you get my vote very week.

Alex has a major problem with James. His choreography is appalling which is why Len told him so and this makes it difficult for Alex. Also, he can't keep his big mouth shut and is deluded into thinking he's a celebrity too. Alex deserves better; she's wonderful.

I'm a Chelsee supporter but just had to come and congratulate Alex on a fantastic tango this evening - goodness hasn't she improved - where has all that confidence suddenly appeared from? James must be over the moon with their scores this week - top of the leader board with chelsee. Alex comes across as such a nice genuine person and she deserves all her success, well done!

Well done Alex and James on Saturdays performance, Now you have to keep it up only the better dancers are left in now so keep on improving as i want you to get to that final and you can do it.

You can see how the pro female dancers perform and you have to try to emulate them thats what the judges will be looking for now as they will get more stricter with the moves and how you apply them, So good luck Alex, James you get my vote.

Presume one of the reasons James and Ola were not needed on the Strictly tour is because Alex Jones couldn't sign up with it because of her One Show commitments otherwise she I'm sure would have danced with James on it. Ola of course wouldn't have had a partner but could have danced with James in the Professional dances!

I think Alex and Robbie have been most improved dancers but the final should be between Harry, Chelsee and either Holly or Jason (I don't mind which).

It was great to see Alex and James on It Takes Two - she is definitely the most improved dancer and have a feeling that their charleston is going to be first rate - it's the sort of dance that will really suit her and James will have plenty of ideas to pull out of the bag I'm sure! I still think Jason could well get through to the final as he has such a big fan base and Kristina is so fantastic - I have a feeling that Holly and Artem could well miss out.

My four would be:

Harry, Chelsee, Alex and Jason

Alex goes from strength to strength - I really look forward to seeing her and James each week. I do hope she gets through to the final - she has such grace.

Just wanted to say that this week I WILL be voting for Alex and James even if they fall flat on their faces simply due to Alex AND James's TOTAL professionalism in dealing with Dame Edna on the one show..
