Goodevening everyone the teddy on the couch is all geared up and ready for another great night dancing. He has found his vuvuzela from the worldcup in SA.

I am excited by the extra space on the dancefloor this evening, here's hoping the dancers will make the most of it.

Don't think Russell will get sent away tonight, the force is still strong with him. Thinking Robbie or Alex will be sacrificed to the Russell gods, and maybe Holly if she mucks up. Hope Artem doesn't dance.

Bottom three probably Russell, Robbie and Anita. Its a shame to be able to predict the bottom three before they have even danced. Who gets voted out is more about fan base than dancing. (Stating the obvious perhaps)

Sadly that didn't work for me at all! Way too much faffing around & not enough dancing!

Let's kick off with nobody else than Robby. We are still wondering what dance this was. The were a lot of lifts but hardly any dancesteps. Olla was nice mmmm

Really looking forward to tonight. The 1st thing you notice apart from the space is how echoey it is. Pleased to see Artem is dancing although it would probably have been better if he had rested another week. He might well get away with it tonight but the real test (if Team Hartem make it through) will be if they have a latin next week. Great entertaining performance by Robbie. Catsuit suits Ola

Not sure about that. Robbie seemed to be just waiting for Ola to perform. Lack of steps.

How embarrassing. Over a minute of faffing and showing his chest off before he started dancing if you could call him that. If he stopped showing off for a minute and concentrated on the steps for a while, he might have done good. I'm sorry but a couple of lifts and being full of yourself does not do it for me. No salsa at all.

It was an entertaining number by Robbie but the comments are fair enough and in fairness when you get in to some of these latin numbers that is the risk you run. By the way I congratulate the costume department for finally giving Tess a decent and modest dress

well on the first prance oh sorry, that should have read dance... I am now tuning OUT of SCD as its not a dance competition anymore its all about the props and nothing more..... I so miss the dancing of this dance competition.... so long guys will tune in from time to time but happy christmas all .....

The atmosphere here is amazing - it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end! You can FEEL the noise!

I love Alex's dress.

There were bits that I thought were bill and others where I felt the purpose disappeared somewhat. Generally quite good though. Alex is coming on nicely.

For the poorer dancers being lost in the distance could be a bonus. Sunday's results show they will have to bring all 6000 people back tomorrow (LOL). Alex overmarked at this rate Harry and Chelsee will be four tens just for standing there.

Alex has certainly got the character of the dance down to a T. Great comments and looking forward to hearing the scores. By the way I have noticed an odd coincidence. The Jordans have started the last 2 shows. Alex started last week followed immediately by Robbie. This week it is the other way round. Terrific score and well deserved

Sounds like its coming from a swimming pool the sound is terrible. Brilliant show shame about the sound cant you go to direct mikes mixed with background?

How sweet was that? James really likes Alex and they get on so well. Great scores, well deserved.

It's so hard to see the dance properly with Wembley so big. Cameramen doing a good job tho

My pet peeve is back with Holly. She needs to point her toes. Hate the dress as well.

OMG Artem is back (wafts oneself quickly and calms oneself down). Great to seed him recoverd, but you know this did not do it for me this week and I never thought I would say that about Artem. Mmmmm.....

Shame about the echoes - can you fix it?!! please - before the prog finishes. What on earth is Holly wearing - not very flattering. Love Strictly anyway : )

Agree with previous re the echo-y thing. Don't know how to look at all comments - very new to the blog!

That wasn't right. Too many mistakes at this stage.

I think Holly is much improved by working with both dancers. She still does not pick her feet up enough and I though she got lost in places.

First week in 3 weeks I've watched this, and so far:

Robbie - entertaining opening number, but not a salsa.
Alex - overmarked. Quite a nice tango, and James did at least keep it classical, except for the one break of hold and climbing up and down the stairs (they are going to be annoying as the evening wears on), but, really what a bland and floppy dancer Alex is. She has no strength in her posture at all.
Holly - potentially a lovely quick step, but far too much action on the stairs - is the show sponsored by Stannah, I wonder? - and what a truly horrible dress. Is it necessary for her to look like she's topless? Shame, as this was really nicely choreographed, and if they could have danced it on the flat it would have been a wow.

how can a dance gone wrong get 8's. Joke judge to please the crowd. If I was producer and they did that I be going mad on the cans.

No bounce, does not seem sure of steps, looks a bit like she is just marking the steps. Not as much enthusiasm as Robin.

Thank-you beeray - will try! Hate to sound negative but one Strictly friend said how "false" she is and I think I agree when they announce results, etc. Shame, as her dancing is OK!

I love Anita, she bounces back all the time and gives her all. She certainly does not deserve to go home this week and I hope people vote for her. I think she did great.
