Context

You have a new idea and want to quickly and cheaply communicate it to others.

Overview

Draw out a series of images showing key elements and interactions.

How-to

  1. Think about the audience for your storyboard. Consider what would be an appropriate level of gloss.
  2. Think of a user journey that will give people a good understanding of your idea.
  3. Think about the minimum number of frames that can be used to illustrate the journey. Ensure there are frames for the key elements and interactions.
  4. When drawing your frames, try to make the images as self-explanatory as possible.
  5. If needed, add descriptions under the frames. A few words or a single sentence will do.
