In 1997 Clara and some friends created Septième SenS, a dance collective which rapidly earned recognition in Paris and throughout France. In 1999 she spent three months in New York, attending intensive house and hip hop workshops delivered by the acclaimed Brian ‘Footwork’ Green, Shannon ‘Which Way’, Shan S and Marjory at the infamous Fazil and Broadway Dance Center. In the States Clara also discovered more about the cultural background and origins of the house and hip hop movement which fascinates her to this day.

Since then, Clara has appeared in many productions and videos, and has danced alongside many famous international artists, dancers and choreographers. She has become an active choreographer/dancer admired for her athletic abilities, versatility, originality and above all the passion that she is able to share and transmit through her performances and workshops.

In 2006 Clara moved to London to further her ambition to promote house dance, its ethos, values and culture. She founded In Da House, her own house dance project, launched and produced her second dance event The New Kidz On The Block and danced at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in London. Since 2013 Clara has been a house dance technical teacher and lecturer at the University of East London.
