Introducing JLS... Just Love Strictly!
From JLS to SCD, popstar-turned-presenter JB Gill is ready to make moves in the Ballroom!
Best known for being part of JLS, JB rose to fame when the group stormed The X Factor in 2008, finishing as runners-up in its fifth series. They went on to dominate the charts, scoring five number-one singles like ‘Beat Again’ ‘Everybody in Love’ and ‘She Makes Me Wanna.’ With over 10 million records sold worldwide and a trophy shelf full of awards including two BRITs and five MOBOs JLS ruled the pop scene before splitting up in 2013.
JB then hung up the mic for a pair of wellies and established a farm that produces award-winning turkeys and free-range Tamworth pork. He’s become a familiar face on TV, presenting several farming shows like the BAFTA-nominated Down on the Farm for CBeebies, Channel 5’s On the Farm, and even cooking alongside his family on the RTS award-winning Cooking with the Gills.
In 2020, JLS announced a reunion tour, but it was postponed due to the pandemic. Thankfully, they made their comeback in 2023 with the Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour. Now, JB's gearing up for another reunion this time on the Strictly dance floor. After winning the Strictly Christmas Special in 2012 with Ola Jordan, he’s back to create more magic in the Ballroom. We can't wait to see JB bust out those moves again!
