You can't pin a good cat down

I promised a photo of the slightly damaged MC, but he has been so much on the go since he came back from his tooth extraction and, more recently, cattery visit, I've not managed to stop him still enough to persuade him to show his lacking of bite or his lovely scar on his chin. However, he did look cute long enough to get one photo.
As you can tell he's fighting fit and in and out the door so much I'm thinking of relacing it with a revolving door. I even caught him up next door's tree after a pigeon and it wasn't exactly an easy tree to scale. It was five feet before any branches appeared and absolutely vertical.
At least we have his insurance in place now so he can be rebuilt in any future unpleasant escapade without us having to sell house and home to do so.
I'm off under the cover of darkness again. Take care.

Insurance for a cat? You've got way too much money. Is MC a relation to that other feline FC? Or am I putting 2 & 2 together and getting 5? Damn calculator....

tws - believe me, we've had to fork out a fair bit since we came south for MC's vet bills. The blighters add on a 拢30 consultation fee with every visit. The Orkney vet we used, perhaps related to FC, didn't charge us for a peek at MC at all - so be grateful for such a wonderful service. We pay 拢55 for a year's insurance which would been paid back from just one minor visit and alone would have been repaid in the cost of just MC's sleeping pills for his latest escapade...and what price can you put on our dearly beloved?...... I could say FC and MC are related in that the C stands for Cat and they look incredibly similar, but unless FC had Westray parentage, then it's highly unlikely. MC appreciates the admiration from Carol and Jill, though it will do nothing for his humilty - if cats possess such a thing.

Not bad, not bad at all. I could live with one of those in the neighborhood. I do like females better though. Do females hunt as well as males, and does neutering affect their hunting instincts? I mean, it's one thing to have cats in the neighborhood, it's quite another to have to feed them!

How are things down south Mad Lamb, apart from MC's mis-adventures? Are you going up to Edinburgh Festival to perform this summer as well? The writing/performing muse treating you well?

Hi, mjc. I made some vague attempts at being academic which sucked all the little I had of a 'life' from me. With the move on top I've not been very mused or amused recently. I'm finishing with my attempts this month - partly cos I now know I'm dyslexic and need to find a way of getting more support with my studies............I'm hoping after recovering from my post-study trauma I can refind my inspiration for finding some enjoyment in life - apart from MC.............I do plan to go to Edinburgh - not to perform, but to watch....I have so many things to think about now we're more established down here, so watch this space - or my myspace space - if you like.

mjc, I just take ages editing whatever I write to make sure it looks okay - hence the problem with studies and why I never made it as a writer. The words just come out wrong between my brain and getting onto the paper - as soon as I see them (mostly) I can see the problem and fix it. I blame the publishing world - I've often wondered if a book would ever be published in 'dyslexic' so people could see exactly how real people write - maybe then there wouldn't be as much need for me to spend correcting my work!
