It seems that at this time of year there's little news around. Both papers seem a little slim (unlike the rest of us) and those are padding out with Ba pictures and bouncing babies who happen to appear at key times.

There are less drink driving incidents and less news of criminal proceedings, too. Have the long holidays have encouraged good news and discouraged people wanting to harm others?

Maybe this means if we had long holidays more often, there would be less bad events to report. What do you think?
