Glen and Henri, thank for your mentions on last thread - I have to own up, the golden prose was mostly made up by someone else at the Herald. I can't remember what I wrote but it wasn't that! It's a very ordinary photo and hasn't come up all that well, but they seem to like sunrise/sets. Been away all day in Dunkeld hoping for some spectacular autumn colours, but not as good as I've seen. And an extra hour on the motorway getting home, poor Hazel texting in all the while and not a mention of her stuck on the M8.

Anyway I'm a bit flummoxed by tomorrow's theme.

#15 Thanks for the link to your pic. Newsprint rarely does pictures any justice - the paper quality can't cope with it. And it's a good day when the colours aren't out of register. I think the readers will appreciate that and take it for what it is - a really beautiful and well composed picture.

There is a song that's bugging me some droning on and then something about all day or maybe everyday being like Monday. Sunday maybe? Anyone help?

when we did the recent theme of work related songs I wanted to suggest a track with a chorus "... big city, bright lights, doin big city business.."

I googled it to find the singer / title to no avail, could only get "Bright Lights, Big City" which is a different song,...I think anyway, there it is...?!

I think it's a reggae number?

i once heard a song about an aeroplane one night driving home and thought Richard Allison said it was the supernaturals. I was damned if i could find it despite trawling through every supernaturals song i couyld find online. Then my son played in a band with an ex supernatural and I got him on the case to no avail. Then due to some serious googling I found it. It was from a TV series called Supernatural (should wash my ears out) and it was bt Tal Bachman, the son of Randy in BTO.

I heard a tune on radio2 a few months ago and liked it enough to check the playlist and play it again. I can't now remember who or what.

At the end of Get it on by T Rex, Marc Bolan says "Meanwhile I'm still thinking". I know this is a quote from another song, I used to have it on an album. Probably early rock, Buddy Holly Eddie Cochran type, but neither of them.

This theme's about a week too late for the Johnny Cash song I couldn't find the title of which annoyed me for ages. I've tracked it down now (I'd written it down ages ago then lost the piece of paper...which I discovered in a book just recently). I'd known part of the title was 'eighteen' and it referred to a train time. 'Mon BB, what was it? A clue is it was written by Rod McKuen.

#56 I choose the middle one. So that's why I can't contribute to tonight's theme - my memory's been wiped.

On the other hand, someone a good few months back, maybe Wee Heavy or Glen? put in a link to an excellent track with Jeremy Spencer. I can't remember if he was playing with Fleetwood Mac or not in the clip and of course I can't remember what the song was. And it's unlikely to get played tonight so if anyone remembers it...?

I remember around about the same time as the band Arrival had a hit single with 'Friends', there was a single that recieved a lot of airplay called 'Bordeaux Rose'. I quite liked it, but it didn't become a hit. I can't remember the name of the band. That would be about 1969. I think it might have been released on the Moody Blues newly formed 'Threshold' label.

If so, I think I can help you. The theme from the Archers, Barwick Green.
The first version is played by Sidney Torch and his orchestra, the second by The Yetties. That's straight out of Wiki, so don't take my word for it.

Some clever guy's got a video on you tube to that Reunion song which features everybody mentioned in it.
