Anyway - thoroughly enjoyed the programme tonight. Some real surprises (in particular, the one about not staying at granma's house - cracker!!) amongst the usual suspects. Even the usual suspects were good. And the only Nanci Griffiths song I like was stunning. I just don't get her voice, usually.

I really enjoyed tonight's programme but I realise that's just because today I'm the teacher's pet.

Tomorrow will be back to normal since history is only a half-stop behind geography in my list of subjects I'm hopeless at. That's because I can't remember stuff therefore I've also no idea what was played last time around so my suggestions'll probably cause hilarity and derision among the bloggers' elite.

As if I care. See me? Track of the night tonight. I'm so chuffed.

By far the best recording of this I've heard, from the Bringing It All Back Ö÷²¥´óÐã album I mentioned earlier. For those not in the know, all the great liner companies were known by their funnel colours. The Grey Funnel Line was the sardonic name for the Royal Navy.
