Pamela looks great! James is such a good teacher and choreographer and Pamela is very determined and moving really well. She could be the one to watch!

Pamela has such a great attitude, I've had a really rotten day at work, but watching that put a smile on my face. I'm going to think positive too.

Those two look like they get on really well, think she might be technically quite good.

come on team pamjam. My favourite clip so far. B4p

Sorry I just don't get her, she was funny on Not the Nine O Clock News but now seems to have a very inflated opinion of herself, I won't be voting for her.

I loved this clip. They look great together and I can't wait to see them on the show. Maybe they are the surprise package - brilliant.

Will the cameras continue to spin around and give us only a couple of seconds before zooming out and spoil my total enjoyment of the dance. I want to see the whole of the couple and not just waist up.

    In the last series
There were between 30 and 40 camera shots in the routines.
Is this acceptable for something which lasts only 3 or 4 minutes ?
Why do the camera shots cut the legs off below the knee whilst they are dancing ? Footwork and legs are the most important part of a dance and they don't let us see it !

They make a good team don't they?

  • Comment number 10.

I will certainly be supporting Pamela and James they look fab together and she is picking it all up so quickly, you go girl x

Loved the VT. Pamela & James are looking great together. Still think she will be this years dark horse. Pity the clip is so short and showing the feet would be a good idea; after all it is about dancing!

i've been invited out to a big bash on friday night. i know i can record the show but its not the same. arghhhhh. and these training vids aren't helping either. they're giving me heart palpitations. its all too much.

as for not showing the footwork, its all about the teaze right now folks.

Brill. A really determined start by Pamela. Loved her efforts in the group dance on first night. Go James!!! Great teacher.

  • Comment number 14.

Hey looking really great - well done Pamela - look forward to the show!!!

  • Comment number 15.

Why are you not showing any of the footwork? How are we supposed to access the celebs progress when the most important part of the dancing is not being shown?

Why are we not shown the footwork? How can we access the celeb's training when the most important part is not shown??

I think these two will be the surprising success of this series. James deserves to do well, as he should have gone further with Zoe. Don't think Pamela will suffer from the nerves like Zoe did....bring on the contest, and let the fun begin!

They look great together, and Pamela seems to have picked up quickly form Jame's teaching...smile though woman :0)

  • Comment number 19.

Look like a good partnership. Is it me or has James mellowed a bit? He seems to get on better with his partners the last couple of series. They could go far I feel.

  • Comment number 20.

It's not helpful to describe Dr P as a "comedian, actress and psychologist".
We won't know whether she's being serious, funny or just making it up...

  • Comment number 21.

Pamela is looking very good indeed. Good posture in hold, spins well
when coming out of hold. If the footwork matches she will be quite a performer.
If she can produce all those elements when she actually performs for the camera and transmission she will go some way in the competition.

    Liking it - alot!
One tip, Pam - when you are in ballroom hold: lift from your ribcage a little more so you can push your head and shoulders back a teensy bit further - it could make all the difference, and will make sure you don't gap at all. I can see you are finding it fairly easy, but watch what you say - the viewing public are a fickle bunch and I would hate to see you go out early, because the public didn't get you as a personality. Looking at this footage you have a good chance of doing really well.
Loving the new (well, most recent 3 series) supportive and encouraging James - knew he was in there somewhere.
    Good luck guys.

Hope you both do really well on Saturday. looking forward to the show. Hope the hard work pays off.
