Would anybody agree that the camera work on the show often takes a lot away from the dancing? All the cameras panning in/out, spinning around the dancers as they dance means we completely miss the big picture at times. Im all for giving more visual interest but not at the expence of the shows raison d'etre.

following the insults Ann recieved last week, I am disgusted to watch this evening and listen to even more. The judges, Bruce and Tess are out of line and are offensive towards Ann. Why?? If they do not want to watch Ann do her best, maybe they should all leave. My children are dismayed at their attitude and comments. Having it shown on the tv gives them the feeling that bullies can watch and see adults getting away with it and copy the insults at schools. This has to stop.

I should like to know how to obtain a CD or similar of the band in Strictly. Some of the singers are absolutely fantastic!

In my youth I was a keen ballroom dancer . A very popular dance at the time was The Creep. Created by the teenage dancers themselves each dance could last for up to 15 minutes. It was great way to get to know one's partner on a very crowded dance floor. The Ted Heath band made a record called The Creep. Today' s youth are missing a trick by not embracing ball room.
It would be good to see The Creep on Strictly

I would be wiling to teach it to the dancers though it is so simple it can be learnt in about 10 minutes . I enjoy Strictly a lot - didn't realise how much I enjoyed dancing especially the quick step & tango & The Creep.

Sat night, yet again dancer Michells music,as she said before was entirely innapropiate for the dance she was performing. Whoever picks it,as most of it bears no relation to the dance being performed. Pse bring back Victor Sylvester type music where the steps will actually match and be in time with the music.

Every week, we play a game where we try to guess the judges' scores before they are announced. We noticed that Ann was playing along this week and we were wondering if you would like to come round next week and play with us? Hi Claudia - We're glued to It Takes Two each night! We're trying to learn to dance a stylish yet simple waltz. We were puzzle why (6 Nov) Michelle & Brendan (a) chose foxtrot music for their waltz and (b) why their waltz didn't seem to contain any of the "usual" 1-2-3 steps. It seemed to be a cross between foxtrot and waltz.
What do we know? But we'd like to understand. I think Len referred to the music in his comments.
Help please so we can keep our feet in check!!

I wish Craig would keep his comments to himself. It is so obvious that he has a total dislike to Ann & Anton. I thought her dance last night was very very enjoyable. She is such a sport to keep smiling, but I am also sure that the comments must hurt.

What the judges forget is that this is classed as an entertainment show and it is very entertaining at the moment. I hope Ann & Anto are still there at the very end. I am voting every week as that is what I call entertainment. Keep dancing ANN.

I think the judges forget that these dancers are actually NOT DANCERS, and that they are doing marvellous things seeing as they have hardly ever if ever danced before coming on the show.

Do youfind yourselves thinking 'WHY are we bothering to rehearse and train for hours and days on end when thousands of viewers will ignore all of that and vot for Ms Widdecombe who does nothing and makes up he own rules'.

How about a rule change for next season. We keep things as they are until the last 8 couples and at that stage we bring back the dance off and judges plus studio audience vote on winners. This would be much fairer and would stop the show becoming a travisity.

07 November 2010 - Results show. I love Tess to bits and she normally looks so glamourous, could someone explain the inspiration behind the 'Bernie Clifton' dress Tess was wearing ? I did have to look twice to see if she had gone 'the full Bernie' with the ostrich legs and reins as well - Thankfully not :)

I like the new public vote rule very much as it:

a) Determine exactly who the public like.
b) Ensure the public who pay for the priviledge of deciding who goes get their wish directly, rather than leave it to the judges who will select the best dancer.

Do I like the result the public vote throws up ? Not always. Did I think Chris Hollins was the best dancer last year - No. Did I find him more engaging and entertaining than anyone else - Yes.

What often happens is that a really poor dancer who is entertaining goes a long way with some better dancers, as this week, receiving a 'shock exit'. Eventually though the quality becomes too strong and if they are still so poor the publice do vote them out.

However, this is what makes the program so entertaining, the uproar, controversy etc - If each week the couples were eliminated on ability or performance on the Saturday then the show would be quite staid - who'd bother voting and who'd watch ?

The argument against this is it is a dancing contest and the best dancers should get their hands on the glitter ball and I do have sympathy for that argument but that would have meant Tom and Camilla not winning (apart from a hasty rule change they were out in the semi) and Chris and Olla would not have won last year. Would I swap their magnificent final dances which are still imprinted on my mind just to have the better dancers hold aloft the trophy - no.

If this was a professional dance contest of course my arguments would be all for the best winning but its an entertainment show which is very, very entertaining and a flagship show which the Ö÷²¥´óÐã should be proud of.
