Tonight looks as if it is shaping up to be a good night. It could be so scary that I am lucky I have my 2 dogs for company! LOL

By the way... has anyone checked out the videos on YouTube submitted by "thisisblackpool.net". Very clever!

can't find anything about the band and singers on this site.
    Why not please ???

  • Comment number 3.

The costumes are fabulous! Strictly doesn't scare me! Hahaha!

Does anyone know what happened to Brian Fortuna (I think a couple of series ago) and the male professional (Jared) who danced with Tina something from Coronation Street last year?
I think Harry will be let down by Aliona's choreography (as was Matt Baker last year). If he was with Kristina or Ola he would win easily.
PS Are we all LOVING this series??!!!

Good point patriciapolka! Perhaps It Takes Two could let us know what the other past Strictly Professionals are doing now? Camilla Dallerup, for instance, who won the competition and then disappeared! Can we have one or two of them back please? Matthew Cutler and Ian Waite?

Not much of a show tonight. Not enough dancing and too much bad acting! How can 10's be awarded when the judges have just been pointing out the mistakes. Maybe it should be called "Strictly Come Prancing". Bad pun..... but Christmas is coming - if this is Halloween, I hate to think what they'll come up with for Christmas.

  • Comment number 7.

The judges were unduly harsh on Nancy this evening, even Bruce was unkind to her. Anton doesn't appear to be supporting her as he should. Clearly, she was upset but accepted the unwarranted criticism with dignity. Good luck Nancy.

    I agree with ajwind123!
How can a 10's be awarded to a dance that is less than perfect?
I did love Harry's dance however

  • Comment number 9.

You say Anton doesn't appear to be supporting Nancy as he should, but it's a two way thing 'support' and perhaps Anton isn't getting the support from Nancy that he should! I don't think she doesn't always agree to follow his choreography in training, hence all the talk about Nancy being in charge of the tems choreography for next week if she is still in competition! There are obviously problems behind the scenes with Nancy and Anton so perhaps we need to wait to see what they are when Nancy's promised book on her Strictly experience is published!

I agree dancingquee Alesha is marking too highly for dances that are obviously not perfect - someone should have a word with her about this or the whole thing will become daft. I agree that Harry's dance was brilliant but there wasn't enough of dance in hold to warrant a 10. If there had been more I think Len would have marked higher himself.

  • Comment number 11.

Agree with others Alesha awarding a 10 for a tango which had minimal tango seemed a bit much - Anita and Robin's dance had so much more going on and minimal faffing.

Did anyone else notice Robin gallantly 'covering up' chelsey as she came up to the top of the stairs?

I'm wondering if Nancy danced in lower heels she may get more 'grounding' in her performance - she always looks like she is about to fall over.

  • Comment number 12.

Regarding the lack of info about the band and singers, some people have pointed this out in relation to previous series, and been ignored. Why there's no info about them when they get a special mention in the show every week is a mystery!

  • Comment number 13.

Hi Patricia Polka - Brian Fortuna has gone into acting & singing as well as dancing and is finishing a three month run playing Danny Cassidy in 'Over the Rainbow' - the Eva Cassidy Story and is playing Aladdin in Northampton at the Royal & Dernegate Theatre from December 9th with Bobby Davro & Basil Brush.

  • Comment number 14.

I totally agree with Alesha about Aliona and Harrys dance. I used to mark dance competitions and dance is ALL about innovation and moving with the times. Aliona is an innovator of dance and without dancers like her dance would become staid and out of place. Dance has always got to evolve and take on a modern stance, without it, it would remain in the past, unfortunately like some of the judges in this competition.

The band have their own website at www.strictlycomedancingband.com complete with two weekly blogs. Also Twitter feed @SCDband
