Ö÷²¥´óÐã Strictly Nora | 13:00 UK time, Friday, 28 October 2011

Our celebrities and dancers are getting ready for a Strictly 'spooktacular' this Saturday, with an extravaganza of Halloween-themed performances. We caught up with them today to find out if they have an extra set of 'heebie-jeebies' ahead of tomorrow's 'Fright Night'. Who is trying to avoid 'murder on the dancefloor' and who is afraid of going bump on the night? Find out in our exclusive video...

oooh, very much looking forward to tomorrow!! :) Best of luck all - but especially Teams Hali, Audalie and Hartem of course :)

Good Luck everyone! Hoping that Hali, Hartem, C&P and Flavant all do themselves justice!

    Hi all,

Have my favourites this week I had doubts about Team Hartem this week but Holly and Artem might be able to pull this out of the bag this week I was concerned over the American Smooth after the music choice but I have a feeling it will come good for them it keeps in with the theme from Halloween and from the looks of it might be able to put them on top of the pile this week.

Also looking forward to seeing Team's Hali, Dobbin, Jastina and Flavant Russell and Flavia have really made some efforts with this weeks music and dance selection and what a song to dance to Better The Devil You Know.

Of course Team Nanton Car Crash Productions need I say more I mean this week should be a walk in the park for them they've been putting on Halloween horror shows for the past 3 weeks this should be another black mark against them I know Anton has won rear of the year and kind of sexy but not a patch on Artem, Pasha, and Robin but really Rumba no way I can't see them try to carry off and sexy and sensual no way can't see it.

Do it for my dog Lucy send them home this week.

So my top 5 this week are.

    Anita and Robin
    Chelsee and Pasha
    Jason and Kristina
    Holly and Artem
    Russell and Flavia

Jury is still out on the rest of the couples until I see the show and read the comments on the blogs here tomorrow night to help me with my assessment.

    Here's my predictions for Saturday:

Jason will come out fighting... he'll want the top spot back.

Harry and Chelsee will both have a great night.

Holly is going to impress if she pulls the lifts off.

Anita may not quite capture the Tango spirit.

Robbie will do a good Paso: Alex might not.

Russell will be as entertaining as ever.

Lulu and Audley will give it a go.

    Nancy... will be Nancy.

  • Comment number 6.

Paso is bound to suit Robbie, going by his Tango, though I'm wondering what his "make or break" finish is.

I agree that Anita might not "quite capture the Tango spirit" - but then her acting skills must be considered.

I think tonight's show is going to be great.

Chelsee looks so much more controlled now, channelling her natural dance ability and I can see her top of the leaderboard again.

Jason will give a great performance again and will be somewhere up there.

Holly and Artem do seem to be a bit more relaxed now, judging from last night's ITT, and their Swan Lake AS is looking pretty good.

Russell will be Russell and will get the public vote no matter what the judges say.

Harry is getting more polished with each week. I disagree with some bloggers - I think Aliona is a great teacher and choreographer - she just bends the rules a bit. If she can curb that I think Harry could win.

Last weeks performance proved that Robbie is a great showman, but dancer??

Lulu may be in danger this week. I don't see her staying in for much longer.

Anita's tango might not come off.

Alex unfortunately may be in the bottom two this week.

Audley may be the one to go this week.

Nancy, like Ann last year, will be kept on by the GBP for "entertainment" value.

hello all, nearly SCD time again, although I am sure the Halloween special will be excellent, are we getting a bit obsessed with 'theme' nights...... I fear for Alex this week, judging from last night't ITT. Jason to steal the show with his quickstep, surely this week Anton (sob) and Nancy to go.... Robbie to be fab at the Paso, Holly please please please try and look like you are enjoying it!!!

Definitely agree these theme nights could well become a problem if we have too many of them, with more and more props being introduced etc.,. I'm in favour of keeping the whole show as simple as possibe and not forgetting the original point of show is people learning to ballroom dance, at the moment some of the couples seem to be having more padding and less dance content in their dances which is a shame. I understand there is a new producer taking over Strictly next series so hopefully they will have a fresh rethink!

Reading these blogs makes me think we all know SO much better than the judges ! Glad everyone is enjoying this series. Bought the Official Annual yesterday but, as last year, there is no scoring page!!!! I really enjoyed seeing how well my scores matched (or otherwise) the judges' scores.
Agree with comments on the theme nights - maybe less props, etc., and a bit more content?
Does everyone think that the celebs are playing down the "..best thing that's ever happened to me.....what a journey....blah, blah" this year? It feels much better without all the angst and a the celebrities seem really genuinely nice people - or am I being naive?

What is it with all those AWFUL Vignettes/promo films. They are cringeworthy and must take hours out of their training schedules. Ö÷²¥´óÐã stop it now.

  • Comment number 12.

We need a petition to get rid of these absolutely terrible VT's. Would much rather see the training - we get little enough dancing as it is.
