Health Worker Uniforms- August 2024
On 16/08/2024, Health Worker Uniforms provided us with the following information in response to our ROR:
Mark Colman and Megan Singleton have been appointed as joint liquidators of The Mina Group Limited (“The Mina Group”) to manage its affairs, business and property, and act without personal liability.
Health Workers Uniforms was a trading style of The Mina Group.
Following the Joint Liquidators’ appointment on 22nd May 2024, The Mina Group ceased to trade.
As a result of the Liquidation, The Mina Group is unfortunately unable to fulfil orders that have been placed.
We subsequently requested additional information from the liquidators, Leonard Curtis. We received the following response from them on 20/08/2024:
Following our appointment, on 23 May 2024, the Company’s physical and intangible assets were sold to Cadabra Enterprise Limited (“the Purchaser”) who was a connected party at that time by way of common director and shareholder Jacob Mina Adams.
On 15 August 2024, we were made aware that the Company also traded under the name Health Worker Uniforms, namely via the website healthworkeruniforms.com. We were also made aware that there may be a number of customers who placed orders with the Company for which their order has not been fulfilled. On 16 August 2024 we were provided with a list of consumer creditors and on 19 August 2024 we wrote to the consumer creditors confirming the appointment of the Joint Liquidators and directed them to their bank to make the relevant enquiries to obtain a refund through their credit or debit card provider.
It is understood that the Company ceased to trade on 17 May 2024 and as such, the Company has not fulfilled any orders since this date. It is understood that any orders placed after the Company entered Liquidation have been made with the Purchaser.
As above, on 19 August 2023 we wrote to all known consumer creditors confirming that their orders will not be completed by the Company and directed them to their bank to make the relevant enquiries to obtain a refund through their credit or debit card provider.
Based on the information currently available, it is not anticipated that there will be a return to creditors from the Liquidation.
We reached out to Health Worker Uniforms to confirm that Cadabra Enterprise planned to fulfil all orders placed after the sale of Health Worker Uniforms. On 21/08/2024, we received the following information:
All orders after 23rd May 2024, that we’re placed with Health Worker Uniforms and paid to Cadabra Enterprise Limited will be fulfilled.
Cadabra Enterprise Limited is fulfilling those orders placed, and apologises for the delays with a limited number of orders that were placed during the transition period, after The Mina Group Limited went into liquidation.
At present we’re not accepting any new orders through the Health Worker Uniforms website, whilst we assess our future plans for the brand.
