We have heard from viewers who have been affected by sudden Laser Clinics shop closures across the country, leaving some customers without appointments and seeking refunds.
We contacted Laser Clinics UK and it said it has assumed ownership and operations of a small group of clinics currently operated by franchisees who intend to depart the network in the UK.
It said it is working to reopen these clinics as soon as possible so that its valued clients can continue their treatment, and it can keep investing in the growth of its UK clinic network in the future.
It said that for clients of clinics that have closed, where possible, any pre-paid treatments will be allocated to the closest available clinic. If a suitable alternative is not available, Laser Clinics will work with the client to consider their options in line with its legal obligations.
It went on to say that Laser Clinics has been in touch with all impacted customers, including those referred to in Watchdog’s story, to resolve individual matters as promptly as possible.
It added that for its clients and team members in its larger clinic network, this change will have no impact and it will be business as usual. Ensuring its clients and staff enjoy an exceptional experience and the highest level of service and standards remains its priority.
Finally it said that it sincerely apologises for the inconvenience to its customers caused by the closure of a small group of clinics.
