Nisha lives and works as a Banker in London with her husband of eight years and her two sons aged six and three. She learnt to cook from her mother who told her “no one would marry me if I didn't know how to roll round chapattis.” Since learning the basics, she’s self-taught and watches cookery programmes for inspiration.

Nisha now loves experimenting with fusion foods. As well as her mother being from India, her father was from Mombasa so she likes to cook African dishes, and enjoys Italian, Asian and Caribbean food. Having lived with people from different nationalities at University including a food scientist, this has spurred Nisha on to be more creative in her own cooking.

Approaching 40, Nisha now has the confidence to follow her foodie dream. As well as cooking, Nisha enjoys art, travel, fashion and cycling.
