Stuart also known as 'Fats', 16, is the son of Colin and Tess. He is at that age where everything his father says or does is contemptuous. Fats is on a search for the ‘authentic’: searching to define himself as different to his parents, especially his father Colin. As part of this search he is on a mission to have sex with Krystal, who is a dirty joke at school and has a reputation for sleeping around. Partly this is to enrage his parents, but also because Krystal’s life intrigues him compared to his own safe, middle-class home.

Fats has been best friends with Arf since they were little, but recently they have both found themselves drifting apart.

Brian’s work in theatre includes David Heinemann’s Four Parts Broken, The Static and Mark Thomson’s Takin’ Over the Asylum for Royal Lyceum and Glasgow’s Citizen’s Theatre, for which he won the Citizens Award for Best Actor.
