Well, the big Beech tree that stood at the top of Achnacroish Brae is no more.

Earlier last year, it lost one of its big branches due the the rain (mainly) and the wind.

Now the rest of the tree has gone the same way. Thankfully it didn't fall down ontop of Beth & Bessie but instead into the space the HE HE have for emergency generators (when required).

I know that some of our cars at Point went swimming but have since been recovered and reparked.

This weekend sees Beth and Tony hosting a Burns Supper on behalf of the Island's Youth Club.

Tickets were sold out as fast as a U2 concert (but less expensive!).

I know that Beth was hoping to have as much a traditional Burns Supper as possible, but what with the bad weather/poor ferries it may be a case of making do!

Last night down the pier I was out for a walk,
When Tony appeared he wanted to talk,

Now mood swings are caused by questions like these,

They put up with our moods, hair dos, our diet attempts,
Why these men that we know are really fine gents.
