Worst Wipeout: Getting run over in Pacific Palms by a 14year old French kid who was better than me within a day, despite my years of endless toil. Then crashing out on a reefy floor and missing a school of Whales coming up for air about 2ft from the group. Everyone was crying with life changing-awe, I was sucking lemons!
Favourite Manoeuvre: Standing up
Worst Surfing Habit: Falling off my board when sitting out back!
Best Surfing Experience: Pacific Palms again, walking down to an empty beach, 5ft and glassy, surfing a left all along the beach with the sun coming out from behind a cloud and a single dolphin leaping out of a wave. Tears to your eyes. Surfed for hours in boardies (not a pretty sight), had a steak sandwich and checked my phone messages to see we had beaten Finland 2-0!
Weirdest Surfing Experience: Appearing in Surfing Life Mag in OZ wearing black socks and white daps.erm yeah.
