I loved Chillin for the same reason, I had no idea that he was a killer but I thought this was more to do with production and writing than anything else. Nah, really I thought it was all about Greg. K, he was the only character actor that I actually fancied, whatever. Still, you can't deny his talent.

    Ty BHprod/Haynes.

Was def down to Chillin's performance. Excellent.

Mr H should be on the radio or something; he's pleasant to listen to.

Thank you blog team and Mr H :)

Been away for a few days with no tinterweb and no TV, so came back to the these three lttle gems and the Des.Rom ad on TV and the clips on this mornings Ö÷²¥´óÐã News(only slightly off-topic).

Once again thanks to the team and this time to Toby Two. I was suprised and how many little things I had not picked up on and yes I had no idea that Owen had killed Annie which as we have said many times before was down to Greg's great acting.

Thanks again, you continue to spoil us

There were clips on the news? Damn I was watching gmtv :-(

I remember at the time of the 'reveal' there was a division between those who said it was obvious he did it and those to whom it came as a complete surprise. I have to say I was in the former category BUT I never viewed it that way.

To me, it wasn't necessarily supposed to be a big surprise to us watching; the important thing was that it was a huge surprise to the other characters who met Owen. And I think Gregg just couldn't have got that performance more spot on. In real life people like Owen really do fool people. And that's what we were watching.

It's a massive bonus that a lot of people watching didn't guess at all and even more of a credit to the performance :)

I'm one of those really irritating people who watch films and spend the entire time guessing the twist or in this case blatantly obvious (in retrospect) resolution.
So far only 2 films I didn't guess the twist, one because it was so complex and amazing that it threw it me and one because it was just plain stupid. This falls into the first option. I agree with sp I really wasn't looking for it, I was absorbed in the programme: the acting, the writing etc.
Kudos to all involved, but Chillin (I so badly want to put an apostrophe after that surname) has skills.

Actually Lenora Crichlow had a lot to do with how I viewed Owen. She gave an amazing portrayal. I didn't always relate to the character but a couple of 'minor' shots helped me to understand and definitely threw me away from Owen.

Great that you actually broke the tile, interesting detail.
