I am VERY impressed. Someone was intune with our thinking/itune playlist or read our threads on the forum. ;)
Collapsed after 2.16 for me. Haven't seen further. Best vid ever so far.
    Why is it stopping?

  • Comment number 4.

Love the music. It stopped for me in the same place.....pwease pretty pwease fix it BH Blog Team :)

  • Comment number 5.

Wow thankyou BH. My daughter and I have both wathed Herrick. We had a bit of a glitch but Scarlett sorted it. Yeah pretty much what we would have had down for Herrick.

Although I would have liked to have seen him in the ep 4 scene after the Bernie debacle when he was at the hospital supposedly questioning Mitchell. Herrick had got Mitchell to join him in his nostalgia over an incident in Glasgow where they obviously killed a man who was baiting Mitchell. Herrick's wanton expression was pure evil magic where he was desperately trying to lure Mitchell back but hey no complaints really; it was fab:)

  • Comment number 6.

Sorry that was "watched" not "wathed" that would have been the chardonnay.

  • Comment number 7.

:( Not working for me either. I'll try again tomorrow.

  • Comment number 8.

Cut out for me too. Will try again tomorrow.

Anyone else find it ridiculously hard to watch the 'Who would send you such a thing?' without thinking of the 'Ooh ooh Sexy Vampire YouTube vid? :D Blog team, if you haven't already, you should really check that one out. That line at the end of it...genius.

    Anyway, kinda off-topic already, sorry.

Got an excited text from super earlier saying how good the latest post is. Yep, thank Blog Team :)

  • Comment number 9.

We had a bit of a cut off but managed to override it by pushing the time bar along a bit! Gosh doesn't that sound so uber technical? ...not!

  • Comment number 10.

Hmm.. k. Had great potential and then just sort of.. stopped. Meh.

  • Comment number 11.

Nice one, sooz, that worked :)

Hmmm, I was expecting the talk in the lift or the moment before he dies to be in there too. They were the most scary and deluded, dictator-style bits in my opinion

  • Comment number 12.

Cant watch cos im at home but will have a look tomorrow - I agree though sperkii I cant watch that bit without expecting to here "sexy vampire..." after lol

"trawling through the comments" sounds like such a painful process and seeing as about half of tem were mine I feel I'd best apologize...sorwy :-)

  • Comment number 13.

i meant hear not here obviously sorry for appalling grammar :-S wasnt really very with it last night obviously lol

brill video though :-) can anyone tell me what that song is?

  • Comment number 14.

eagle, seriously? You don't know that it's Personal Jesus? Gosh. There's a Marilyn Manson version but think that was prob the Depeche Mode version. Been covered by loads of peeps though.

  • Comment number 15.

eagle, seriously we went through this track a lot for the vamps on the forum or maybe just me and sp..
I think Depeche was a better (and cheaper) version than Manson. Although Manson is on my playlist, a lot.

  • Comment number 16.

Oh right you know me im not really a manson fan :-S just sounds like noise to me lol im too much of a geek...or an old woman not entirely sure which. Liked that bit there though

  • Comment number 17.

You have some great vids and music choices ee. Trust me the biggest geeks are techs and then music nerds, so we are all equal. Hang on, I missed grammar nazis out. We are all cool compared to them. ;)

  • Comment number 18.

Cheers Super :-) have to say though I just went a bit grammar nazi on some little twirp...but I had good reason to lol.

I quite like having mods - its making me come up with much more inventive names for people :-P I have to say twirp is a personal favourite lol

  • Comment number 19.

Twerp is good, fw is better.

  • Comment number 20.

*hides the fact that she can sometimes be a bit of a grammar nazi.*

  • Comment number 21.

Lol super you make me laugh ill remember that :-P

Wait you've made me think now is it twirp or twerp? Is it even an actual word :-S

And C you're not fooling anyone!! (Its nearly thursday - ahhhh!!)

  • Comment number 22.

Oh and for gods sake C please dont forget the tickets lol

  • Comment number 23.

Hmm sorry this isnt on topic but it is at least about BH so thats something - episode 4 "I'm talking about something older and stronger than religion" Well it isn't is it - vampirism - it isn't stronger than religion - it can hurt them. Ok no its not interesting just never really thought about it before and I'm trying to put off doing the washing up lol

  • Comment number 24.

Maybe he just meant stronger as in 'a confirmed presence'? Hmmm, not sure. Maybe we're just not supposed to think about it that much lol

  • Comment number 25.

Plus, in force, they are able to withstand the harm of religious symbols more easily (Seth)

  • Comment number 26.

    *breezes in*
    you lot think too much
    *and runs out again *

  • Comment number 27.

lol ahhhh i dont even care - desperate romantics JULY 21ST!!

YAY!! VERY...oops calm down calm down phew...very happy now :-D

hmm although somethings happening on July 21st cant for the life of me remember what but its not long away is it?! YAY!! lol whatever it is it cant be that important ill cancel :-P

  • Comment number 28.

Oh and I agree Sperk it was more to put off housework than anything really lol - although I have to say (assuming for now that religion etc is true) Vampire Vs. Jesus - my money is gonna be on the latter I think lol...wow thats a wrestling match I would definately pay to see

  • Comment number 29.

thanks team the bit i saw was great but it keeps cuting off
tried your little trick (however said it)but still wouldnt work so oh well try again another day

  • Comment number 30.

I think when I thought something was happening that day maybe I was just thinking BH airing in the states...is that the 22nd? Thats going to be an exciting couple of days for Aidan isn't it :-)

Katy maybe try it late at night/early in the morning lol I know it sounds daft but works for me dont know if its because less people are online or something I dont know how it works

  • Comment number 31.

Yep...still not happening after a couple of minutes for me either.(but doesn't really matter...cos we all know Herrick so well by now)

But have to say I cannot understand why I feel that someone who is so evil, manipulating and down-right 'orrible is so wonderful. I love Herrick...(despite the whole stake in the vampire's heart thing) he is tectonic, plate-shifting.

P.S. Desperate Romantics...July 21st...going for a lie-down now.....a very, very long lie-down with, of course the wet flannel.

You know, you people do not help in any way with my blood pressure

  • Comment number 32.

    Lol sorry VF :-P

And it's ok everyone thinks I'm odd for sympathising with Herrick :-S

Just listening to the last episode of Newfangle - don't want it to be the last one :-( but awww ing at Russell bless him

  • Comment number 33.

Eagle:: You are odd....but then so am I, I absolutely adore Herrick and I work on the theory that 'THEY' have really listened to us so far and cannot have failed to notice how popular he is and I think it is not beyond Toby's brian-power to somehow bring him back. But hey!! what do I know.....I have to concentrate on getting to 22/7 without the aid of strong tranquilisers or even stronger alcohol!!

  • Comment number 34.

lol ha well 21st desperate romantics then the dvdvd's out september then russells in the christmas dr who then series 2 BH in january...thats my next few months sorted lol thats assuming my mother lets me watch the christmas dr who she cant stand it - if not i might just nip over for my dinner then come home to watch it :-P i missed him in it first time round im not missing this one :-(

  • Comment number 35.

Just tell your mum that the alternatives are either Her Majesty(not such a bad thing) or Noel( a really bad thing)....she will surely let you watch the fab Russell....unless she is like my mum who is now seriously worried about her normally stable, centered daughter's obsessive behaviour (not to mention a house full of pictures) relating to the beautiful Irishman (who in her opinion needs a haircut and a shave)and just does not get those eyes at all!!.

  • Comment number 36.

Lol that was my mums first reaction "i bet you've got the hots for the irish one havent you" how an earth could you tell that? "because he looks like a tramp - but i suppose with a haircut and a shave he'd be quite nice" lol but she liked the fact he was irish. Russell she approves of :-P wants me to bring him home :-S so looks like its not just my own expectations that have been ridiculously hightened now lol oops.

Mum doesnt do telly on christmas day - not because she wants to play cherades or talk or do family things - no just becasue usually we have to watch whichever dvd shes been bought lol (we know now to only buy things we dont mind watching lol) or listen to the new cd - last year it was leona lewis i swear to god 10 seconds in i was ready to throw myself off a cliff - not the cheeriest of women is she.

  • Comment number 37.

Have to say though I don't have pictures everywhere just on the laptop wallpaper lol although did cut out the article from the times yesterday with a picture of Aidan as Rossetti and thats gone on pinboard in my kitchen - much more important than reminders and all that - its been taken over by my autograph collection :-)

  • Comment number 38.

I talk to all my pictures...say good morning to him....tell him when I have to go out and promise I won't be long....tell him what sort of day at work I have had ...you know all the normal things one tells pictures......the only good thing is that, so far, he doesn't answer me back...of course when he does I will be thrilled and go back on to the strong medication.
I always assumed my children would be much older when they had to have me committed

  • Comment number 39.

    Lol erm...Ok *grins and nods...runs away* :-P

  • Comment number 40.

eagle::: That is the reaction I get from everyone (especially the running away bit)....strange, don't understand it

  • Comment number 41.

Lol maybe its the talking to inanimate objects thing... :-P

To be fair I do it too - I take the mick outa C for talking to her characters and I do that too...just dont admit it lol

  • Comment number 42.

Vamp, I used to have a friend who talked to their pictures. I talk to my dog sometimes and, like Eagle says, my characters.

Eagle, :P Are your characters as hard to handle as mine? Zach seems to live (figuratively speaking) to annoy me.

  • Comment number 43.

Hmm well I've put a few of them to bed for now...and by that I mean away in a drawer lol I like the characters and know them absolutely inside out but the actual story wasn't interesting enough I dont think and I've got another idea for a story but needs completely different characters so gonna have a look at that for a bit see if itll work but knowing me it probably wont either lol.

But hey happy happy - FOAM PARTY!! Yep half an hour - bbc3 9 o clock it the foam party episode of gaivn and stacey and we get to see Russells fantastic dancing :-P and his little bum wiggle...not obsessed really not but its rather loverly :-)

Sorry totally off topic but did say id remind everyone when it was on :-) cant wait to see him in series 3 wooo

  • Comment number 44.

Aww :( Can't watch at nine. I'll have to use iPlayer later.

  • Comment number 45.

lol you watching torchwood? im watching it at 11.45 on bbc3 :-P i have the g and s dvdvds but i just cant not watch russell

  • Comment number 46.

haha it was brilliant :-D the bum wiggle and the dancing - both just as great as i remember :-) ahh *sigh* russell tovey you brilliant brilliant lovely man :-) andy knott and mat baynton also ridiculously brilliant in this episode but they arent in BH so i guess i shouldnt really mention them :-P

  • Comment number 47.

Ohhh desperate romantics site not up yet :-( its meant to be today I hope they dont leave it too late I really want to see before I go

  • Comment number 48.

I'm a little sad that I was unable to see the video past 2:18 so I don't know what was popularly considered Herrick's most evil actions. Of course, when he outlines his plan a little more, keeping farms of humans like humans keep cattle, is pretty irredeemable.

When this first series was being transmitted, I sat with rapt attention and looked forward with great anticipation to the next episode. I snapped up the DVD quickly but was somewhat disappointed to note that there were no commentaries on the episodes from the lovely Toby Whithouse and the episode's director and the stars. What about the one-hour long behind the scenes documentary Unearthed, that should have been on the DVD too!

Having said that, I am eager to see the next series and all the fun and speculation that brings. Oh yes, and I love Russell Tovey's portrayal of George so much, there's always a smile plastered on my face when I see him!

  • Comment number 49.

Text for the 'Mericans in the audience please?? The player can't be played here, I wanna see(or read anyway)! Love love love the show!!!!
