it could be that there are humans and Humans according to SFX George will end up in a cage and in sneak peek Mitchel ends up tied to a chair. this means just that they know of the weaknesses of the pair all in all who knows and thats the fun.

No, in all seriousness, I prefer vamps because they seem that little bit more "human", because they live for so long and have to fight so hard to be accepted as normal human beings, but are always baying for the humans blood, whereas werewolves seem to have ( a very very slightly) easier time. But thats just my opinion, everyone to there own....

not its more the passion that werewolves can feel theres less of the blood lust but the mating for life the pain of separation and the change

Being up all night with chronic food poisoning has some advantages- I got to see the new BH trailer on the tv a couple of times. It is amazing! It was played right next to the Dr Who trailer and it fitted in perfectly, just grabbed your attention. *applauds the creative team*

ATfan1: lol..a woman after my own heart...AT as a werewolf would make me supremely sensitive to the needs of werewolves...but I still prefer vamps somehow...it's like he said...you "don't have days off" so they have a full-on job of wanting to feed and kill whereas with werewolves its just a few hours a night, one night in 28...but the thing that would sway me is that I'd prefer being a vampire (if given the choice, and only if Mitchell did the biting) because you're never ill (unless you're staked).

Oh, a thought...when Mitchell was staked why did it he survive yet Lauren died? She was only staked for about 30 seconds and she'd popped off this mortal coil...mitchell's lying on the floor of their living room waiting for an ambulance, gets to the hospital, gets put through his paces...and lives....is there a reason for this in the story, like he lives for a reason?

look again at where he's staked the Que misses his heart and goes in at the wrong angle

Ewan: Right...I just thought that in the hospital afterwards, when they've put him in a bed he's telling Josie his body can't make sufficient blood, and that he was dying, but then she saves him (again) otherwise he would still have died....I thought it didn't matter where you were staked as long as it was in that general area. Also, true to BH vamp-lore, as soon as he was in hospital and out of immediate danger, he immediately started to recover...the doctors were amazed and couldn't find a reason for it...this was before Josie's sacrifice of her blood for him...it's almost like he was meant to live for some purpose or other.

Would like to remind everyone that my opinions are always about the character not the actors. AT is lovely, fun and sweet to his fans. I can make the distinction between the two very easily.

Super: Owen as a vampire...its possible because he'd make a great vamp but I still wouldn't like the character of Owen...there was nothing likeable about him really... and no, I didn't even find him sympathetic when he was in the cell with Kemp at the end of E6....Greg C is a fabulous actor though, he really is.

Mitchell is an addict...being an addict does your brain in...maybe that's why the writers/AT have made him so changeable lol...mostly he's pretty good person though, only rarely does he go to the dark side!

BH is clever in how it merges real life character flaws, crazies with supernatural elements. So my version of a vampire would be bad and powerful. Owen would fit perfectly.
But BH it mixes it up so you are no longer deciding on the qualities of supernaturals but the traits of humans with addictions and emotional issues.

And how boring would it be if they were all good, law abiding citizens?

Owen would so lead.

ANGLO he would only be bad if he could get the sense of power back, cos at the end of s1 ep6 he was a crumbling mess and all the power lay with annie.. however, if a vampire makes the connection between owen, annie and the others then he could be used as a tool to bring them down. they aren't going to get away with killing henrick lightly... there's definitely the sense of lots of running and being chased in this new episode. so owen could well become a tool for bringing down the 3. hmmm.... waits to be seen.

Not caught up much but I thought the actual bit that looks like part of a scene was in episode 1 where they encounter ivan and daisy in the alley but then the general running away is kind of running away from themselves "time to face they're demons" well when you face your demons thats usually facing up to things you've done etc. Probably wrong like but thats what I assumed.

Allyska: Right...I think the vampires know the link between all four or at least def 3 of them because of what happened at the undertakers when Mitchell was saying "when I'm gone, don't talk about me the way you do...I don't want to be remembered like that" when Herrick was talking about killing him...it won't take long for that story to get around the vampire world particularly after the part he did/didn't take in Herrick's death (he didn't actually kill him but allowed George to) and like you say, he won't get off lightly for that... and one of the tools could be Owen because of his mental state and his grudge against Annie and the others, but particularly her..

Super (87)...could be that he is extremely wary/scared of Daisy or/ and Ivan...Paul Rhys does scary really well...and by the looks of the pair of them, they appear pretty much without conscience (as you would expect but worse)...they could have crossed swords with Mitchell in the past and in fact I think there was an article in which that was suggested (Mitchell was said to come into contact with "acquaintances" of his, Ivan and Daisy) so if they've met before, what occurred I wonder....bit more fun for us to have mulling over that one..

And just to add my two penny worth in....
I'm not sure the trailers) are from any episode....I kinda thought they were just 'setting things up' so to speak...probably wrong. Not sure that they are running from vampires or other supernaturals...mind you they did do some running when they got away with Lauren in eps 6 of last series so maybe a gang of vampires would make them scarper. The vampires that semed to frighten Mitchell were those that turned up in the hospital ( and looked green!) ...pretty scary and a good reason to run.
Also think like eagle that they are also running from themselves as part of the theme of BH2..and their own demons.

Can't really see Owen coming back as a vampire...someone would have to get him out and 'turn ' him...I guess Kemp knows where he is but don't quite see why the 'baddies' would do that.

And I want to know what's happened to Janie Tango Harris since Owen went missing...surely she's noticed by now he hasn't come home! Does she go to the house to try to find him and bump into Annie again? Does she find out stuff and try to 'rescue' Owen?

(27) I used to be completely pro-vampire for my choice of supernatural being, but I've come to see some of the attraction to werewolves. I think the difference is that werewolves are a kind of wildly exaggerated version of normal human tendencies, the deepest animal part, so in some ways they are inherent in the human condition. That makes them sort of attractive, like letting oneself go feral instead of keeping it down. Except of course trying to put the beast back in the cage after he's been released...

fact is, i think we can put our own interpretations onto things, because we are the spectator and hence the one that interprets the events. no one of us will have an identical viewing of any episode as we will all interpret the visual and verbal information differently, but so good that they are getting our curiosity enticed... it will be interesting to see how people interpret the subtext of the series. i just want to see the first episode now!

on a really profound level, however, i really don't like the greased back hair on mitchell....! i might say this a hundred times so excuse my repetetiveness!

Shohga I'm with you on the werewolf thing - they scare me way way more than the vampires and it is like you said - it's that thing of exagerating the worst part of being human (as in actual being a human being not the show...you know what I mean lol) which is somehow very scary and very...appealing at the same time :-P
