Amanda (47) Oh I'm going come hell or high water....I can get a day off then as our leave re-starts on 1st January...and, having looked at my diary, I have an appointment locally at 10.30 so I can grab my ticket (I hope) at 10a.m.....

A thought...I am hoping that we on here really do have first choice...it could be that the freebie tickets won't appear on other websits until the following day or later that day or something....that would give us far greater chances of getting them...hope this is the case...otherwise, the site will crash cos too many folks trying to get the tickets...trying not to be pessimistic here but hoping that we are such a close community with not that many peeps on here, we might get a good chance of them...

Hi guys, I'm new to the blog. But i can tell you that a am just as excited as the rest of you. Will try to get some tickets but I reckon that they will go like hot cakes (understandably) :)

I now have a headache lol to my pc and excitement

This is great news but I have three concerns..
1. will we all get tickets
2. What time the screening starts as some of us will have to get back to NW England that night and late trains /Virgin trains don't go together
3. My tinternet getting me onto website in time.

A day earlier and I could have stayed overnight in london with friends.
There isn't anyone I work with/play with interested in BH ( I know!) ..if I manage to get a pair of tickets and one of the regular bloggers doesn't you can have my other ticket...this is assuming that the timing of the screening allows me to get there and back from home.

Ohhhh...Problem no. 4 just identified..how am i going to get out of my lecture on Thursday morning to get on the website!!!!!!!

on Dorina u will need to say u have a dentist appt or something, we all deserve tickets and derserve to be there...i doubt the lecture will sink in if your thinking about missing getting the chance for tickets.. i am in same boat and none of my friends watch BH so will offer my ticket to someone too just dont want to be coming home late on a train back to bristol on my own so will be nice to share the journey/ experience with another good fellow blogger ....

i really need to come off now too many hours on this site that my contacts are falling out of my eyes.. buy for now guys x

Thanks Amanda but not quite so simple unfortunately..it's me giving the lecture..! still, there are always ways round these things ..and it is my last lecture of the semester..and..and..I'm sure I'll find a creative solution.

Biggest issue is getting hold of a pair of tickets. Anglo; no chance that tickets restricted to bloggers only...the news is posted on twitter #beinghuman ( can someone explain to me the difference between that and @bbcbeinghuman?) and there seem to be a lot more people tweet on there rather then the @bbcbeinghuman page...then there are all the forums that will have heard the news by now. Beacause of location at least it may restrict people wanting to go to those in England/Wales ( scotland a bit far?) sorry all other people!

Just started to 'come down' after the slight high earlier...feel quite drained...work tomorrow depending on the sorethroat/earache thing I've had for about three and a half weeks now...of course, this may mean I'm sick Thursday and Friday....particularly Thursday morning...hehe

Train fares from Bristol should be reduced after Christmas, you Bristol fans out there...I'm assuming they still do Apex fares....a tip : don't ring up and book because you may not get the cheapest...been ripped off like that before...Im going to try and get to Temple Meads and book...at least you can do it face-to-face with someone and make them give you the best fare, wicked woman that I am lol

Any of the Bristol bods going willing to meet up at Paddington, or even on the train provided we get the same one, and get a taxi together to wherever this thing is to lessen the cost? Just a thought...

It's difficult for Ö÷²¥´óÐã and BH because they couldn't have had this event over Christmas/New Year (fewer peeps able to attend), and with Ep1 showing probably second weekend in January or thereabouts, they were limited as to when they could show it...I guess it had to be arranged fairly quickly, too, which might explain the mix-up with the BAFTA dates/events...

Now that the news has sunk in, I find myself more grateful to BH & Ö÷²¥´óÐã for sorting this out for us...thank you very much all of you...it's a great post- Christmas treat at a time when we're all finding the festive season a bit of an anti-climax...hope as many of the cast can be there as possible but we'll understand if they have other commitments..thanks again...xxx

Assuming that I can get a ticket I'm wondering what time the screening is and whether the 'guests' there will have time for chats etc. My last train back is 21.40 which is not very late and I'm thinking that the 'guests' who may turn up will have to finish their Ö÷²¥´óÐã thing first..unless of course the Ö÷²¥´óÐã thing ( Sinead talked about) and the free screening are one and the same? What I'm trying to say is that if the free screening isn't until say 7.30pm then It'll be a stuggle to watch the eps, listen to Qs/chat with 'guests' and get the train back. I really need the screening to be early evening..but suspect it's later..the Ö÷²¥´óÐã tend to have late evening things.

For those of us who are lucky enough to get tickets and go on 7th January... it'd be great if some could provide pics and anecdotes, particularly if we're lucky enough to meet and greet the cast again, but keep totally schtum about the episode...some peeps probably won't read the blog in case we inadvertently provide spoilers...shall we agree to not discuss the actual epi here at all but to go on yt or other areas to discuss if we need to? We'll probably all be seeing Ep1 again when it's first shown on TV anyway and will be discussing it madly after then :D

Dorina has asked bbcbeinghuman on Twi what time the event kicks off.... however, judging by their earlier blog post, I don't think they can tell us yet because the info seems to be being 'leaked' in bite-sized chunks! Keep your eyes peeled on the blog because we might get another blog post or two from them over the next 56 hrs giving us further info about the event, like telling us when to look on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Be in the Audience webpage for times, etc....I've put that webpage on my favourites and it will update automatically or I hope it will :D
