CenSSA: LLOYD UNMASKS THE HIGHGATE VAMPIRE

Post categories:

Garret Keogh, Online Editor | 10:40 UK time, Wednesday, 30 December 2009

Over on , Lloyd has been doing some pretty heavy research into the UK's most famous vampire of all time... .

He thinks it's someone we might know... can you put a name to the face?

this guy is hilarious! bless him, he hasn't got too much in-depth information has he?

i had a strange experience at highgate cemetry once. the cemetry keeper was locking up and wouldn't let me and my friends leave as he was convinced i was famous and pretending not to be.... it went on for ages...

happy new year all x x

  • Comment number 2.

Hi all :-) ur right allyska he is funny ! Is it me or does anyone else think the highgate vampire look like Lloyd? Maybe he is a type one!!!!!!

  • Comment number 3.

he says foxes were found drained... do vampires feed on animals?? thought it was just humans? Lauren certainly didnt want to feed on the "bad dog" - would need jabs..If animals would do Mitchell could stay off the human "wagon"??

I think Lloyd is creepy - or maybe not just as good an actor as The Four?

  • Comment number 4.

In twilight the Cullens feed on animals they crave human blood but learn to stay off it. Edward Cullen discribed it as tho humans living on tofu alone, we cld live on it but still crave the real thing ..

  • Comment number 5.

Possible spoiler warning here, but did anyone else catch this on News 24? It's an entertainment round up of the year which of course goes into all the vampire action that's been going on around the world. Talks about BH and the rise of werewolves and there's a tiny clip with Russell wearing some very intersting prosthetics. Start about 11.40
    /iplayer/episode/b00plcrk/E24_26_12_2009/

  • Comment number 6.

mlg is right in the twilight books animal blood is a substitute but then there is no indication that this is the same in BH coz otherwise wouldn't mitchell have been doing that last series when he was really struggling with cravings!!?? we already know he's not a veggie (very meaty pizza's)so there's no issue there!!

  • Comment number 7.

if you look up the Highgate Vampire there is an account of "mobs" of vampire hunters swarming over the walls and gates despite police attempts to control them. Was on Friday 13th in 1970 but for some reason made me think of Thursday 7th??

  • Comment number 8.

    Thats so Seth isn't it?

Oooh the animal thing is interesting - don't think "Twilight" rules apply here lol, this show has selected certain lores that it sticks too, don't think the animal blood substitute one is....but I'm probably wrong lol!

  • Comment number 9.

no im with you ATfan but then that makes the dead foxes more/less interesting depending on your conclusions!!!

  • Comment number 10.

True true....either Mitchell & Lauren are thick and forgot about feeding off of animals or the rule "doesn't apply" to them. Not sure, but an interesting point :P

  • Comment number 11.

how could you say that about the vampire???

  • Comment number 12.

Lol I know......don't think he/they are.....but surely if they could feed off of animals he would have taken Lauren to the woods & caught something rather than got a bag of blood from the Hospital? Lol

  • Comment number 13.

from the trailer he looks so much meaner in S2 - Toby said much darker -(I think we only saw the fangs once in S1) - maybe more options open up?? thought of animal draining certainly nasty

the fangs/ scowl in trailers have touch of True Blood?? Tho I think Toby said he hadnt seen it ??

  • Comment number 14.

I know - I'm a bit worried we're going to lose charming cute Mitchell and get nasty scary Mitchell - not that I'm opposed to that you understand - but I hope we don't lose the humour and easy going-ness of his character.

I do hope it doesn't go all "True Blood" I really hate that show - no depth in the acting, characters or plot!

  • Comment number 15.

anyone else think the pic is a TINY bit like the guy form the THINK- don't drink and drive campaign??

and i am going RIGHT now to see that news 24 clip- yay

  • Comment number 16.

i dont think it will be all dark coz then, as we've said, it's no longer being human i think (hope) it will still have that humour and depth etc that we all love because surely a programme can't change that much between series??
oh and i must admit that i watched True Blood but i dont think Being Human could ever become like that because the basis for the show is so different and to be fair i trust toby and his writing skill!!

  • Comment number 17.

I really like True Blood - outrageous and funny and dark - though Bill is getting a bit boring - like you I think where Toby got it right in BH1 was the balance between scary supernatural and real sympathetic humans we could like - maybe his plan all along was to get us to like them in S1 ready for a bit more testing stuff in S2? When I relooked at S1 over Xmas - I did find it a bit scary to be sympathising with M - given he was in fact a serial killer? even if he was the best looking one possible..

  • Comment number 18.

yeah but he repented so its all fine!!!

  • Comment number 19.

Celtic - I totally agree. I was like "Oh god. Why do I feel sorry for him? He was WORSE than Herrick". Then I was like "Oh yeah, he's funny & charming & mind numbingly attractive. Duh"

Yeah I mean some dark stuff is great - obviously, but you have to strike a balance. I think it'll be fine because in the ad theres a good mixture of humour, their personalities & of course the dark/supernatural element.

Back to the TB thing - As long as its not /all/ sex & murdering, it will be fine. (Although some Mitchell action would be nice).

  • Comment number 20.

yeah i agree i think tb was a bit too much sex, drugs and vampires so maybe something more in the middle would be good!!!

  • Comment number 21.

Exactly - it didn't really make me laugh, or think. And after watching it there weren't any memorable lines/scenes.

But some Mitchell action is acceptable! lol

  • Comment number 22.

You can never have too much Mitchell action....

Evening all...not much to add to this vid as commented on last night on previous blog ...somehow we all saw it before it went up here..think that Super spotted it on YT.

Still think it's Seth..sorry Super...although..saw your comment on Richard Turner ,Dorina...it's got me thinking....Matt and Colin did say in Nottingham that in one sequence they'll be meeting some very old vampires..and we don't know if Richard Turner was killed or not..he'd be over 400 years old by now...but he started off the vampire community in Bristol ...mmmmmm

And I did enjoy True Blood..all the sex?..yeh...didn't bother me...loved the atmposhere set up in that show and I was surprised by the killer..will prob watch second series when it shows. The vampire 'rules/laws' were very different from BH but that's the whole point of BH...the 'rules' for the different types are whatever the writers ( more than Toby on BH2)decide they're going to be....and , after all, it's important in the show that Mitchell, Annie, George and Nina ( who I'm sure will be a werewolf) appear to be more human than supernatural.

Not worried that BH2 will be darker than BH1...trailers certainly hint at that and Toby has consistently said that was the way BH2 was going ...I know it'll keep it's humour...and I'm loving seeing Mitchell's fangs..think we're going to see a lot more of them...and gory stuff!

Interesting interview with Russell posted up on Twitter..will find it and post it here

  • Comment number 23.

Here's that link I mentioned above

In it Russell appears to suggest that the Comic Con fans are 'the best'..careful baby..you can go off someone realllyyy quickly you know...!

  • Comment number 24.

    Hi guys...few comments above..

Hello Dramalovely, ATfan1, Celtic, BNTW, Moonlightglow and Allyska...

Been putting together my new dvd player/recorder and got it set for tomorrow morning's BH-fest...only going to record the Unearthed bit because I have the others now, never seen unearthed...can you believe they've put it on at such a stupid time, Ö÷²¥´óÐã3 at 4.25 a.m....why can't we have an entire evening or two of BH over 3 or 4 hours, instead of the 'graveyard shift' although of course that might be why they did it!

Nimue (5) Saw the News24 thing yesterday purely by accident...prosthetics are amazing...I was particularly impressed by the bulging veins on Russell's costume!

Lloyd...I'm never quite sure about all this but it's all good stuff for us to take in for when next week/10th January comes...

Have you noticed how many British actors play quite well-known vampires.... Rob Pattinson, the True Blood guy, Gary Oldman back a few years, our Aidan, Christopher Lee...America loves a British "villain"..

  • Comment number 25.

Im recording the rescreenings including unearthed - to my skybox - but tried today to activate my video recorder with my new tv and cant get a picture - so offer to atfan loks a bit lame - but I think anglo offered to DVD record which would prob be better??

  • Comment number 26.

Hi everyone...yes...Richard Turner vampire extraordinare...don't really think he'll pop into BH2 but what a story that would be!

Nimue...thanks for IPlayer link..interesting..thought that George's wolf was looking a bit skinnier.or should I say leaner and maybe meaner...than wolf in BH2...hard to tell as he was just being fitted.

I don't know Brown..our the boys going off us ya think?...first Aidan doesn't want any presents ( or us really) and now Russell sending love to Comic Con fans...and not us......a grown woman could cry..!

  • Comment number 27.

Ok no probs Celtic I'll bother anglo about it now lol!

Anglo - I;m not implying that sex bothers me lol! Just meant that the storyline seemed a bit weak :P

And I think somebody needs to have a word with these 2 - don't want to be losing our interest now do they? We need Sinead to sort them out! lol

  • Comment number 28.

Dorina: Hi there! Sorry, Imissed you off the first greeting list!!..have replied to you btw...and agreed...I think my engineering works should now be navigable so I should be with you around 2.30 on 7th January..

ATfan1: Er, not quite with you hun...have I missed something about the sex? Did you mean the storyline in those CenSSA vids is a bit weak? I've not seen anything about you not liking sex *creases brow*...am I having another senior moment? hehe

You OK after the horse probs earlier?

  • Comment number 29.

ATfan1....Lol...you're not wrong. Hey there BH Blog Team..can you let Russell and Aidan know we're not feeling any love from them right now.

..and hope that you saw the MANY requests ( last blog post) for the BHTrailer shown at Nottingham to go up here....because unlike those two boys..we are sending you a whole lot of love!

Yo Anglo..good to hear you've warmed up..sex thing related to True Blood...and not Aidan...honest...

About to disappear for a while..might come back on later on so hi and bye to those I've missed

  • Comment number 30.

this paranoia about the two "cold ones" is becoming a downer on my evening - time for a diversion or two - bye

  • Comment number 31.

Hi Brown if you're around and you might not be until later so I'll see you then...

Am working tomorrow but hopefully will be able to sneak around a bit on here and possibly Twittr and comment a bit...will be about tonight on and off for a while..been so busy with paying bills and shopping for food and dvd and posting birthday cards its taken until now to get sorted out...so unorganised.

  • Comment number 32.

No I meant TB was weak and over-sexed lol! Oh yes we haven't got any issues there have we lol?

And yes horse probs were earlier in the week but a bit scary lol! All sorted now...

  • Comment number 33.

Just came back to switch off when noticed celticgrace's comment...

We're not paranoid baby....we just like to comment on all things posted be they vids/interviews etc and what a dull world if we all constantly said the same things. If you went onto Twitter you'd see that we cary on the same threads on there...and tonight we've been teasing about the two boys. We like to keep them on their toes. Doesn't mean we don't love them.
    You'll get use to us

  • Comment number 34.

Yeah- we're not serious lol, we love them very much indeed and always will......
Haha and we've got to talk about something vaguely BH related right?

  • Comment number 35.

sorry - "paranoid" meant as joke ... long day

  • Comment number 36.

    No offense taken :)
    Know how you feel lol

  • Comment number 37.

    hey all :)

ive gave up on work and to pass the time thought id check the blog :)

true blood is crap so i very much agree with you ATfan but i don't think BH would do that true blood is the easy way to get ppl to watch sex, drugs and death and more sex with abit more drugs with the odd bar fight (wow full season in one line) BH is more then that i know it has alot of them but different,it's better

  • Comment number 38.

Lol yes you summed it up in one line!
Each to their own but I personally agree with you BDH!

  • Comment number 39.

ATfan1: Well, you're right...I mean, yeah, there is the old vampire/sex thing going on anyway but with TB it was all a bit too full-on pretty much immediately it began....there was no gradual build-up, no subtlety...it was almost like the company who commissioned it were way too over-keen to be upfront and over-compensating because there was a lot of nudity and sex for American TV screens...it was like they were saying "wow look at us, look what we're doing, aren't we brave/different"...it was different but not necessarily for the right reasons...I stuck with it for 6 episodes and then missed one, lost the need to see it again and really haven't missed it..and I have been very spoilt with Being Human!

  • Comment number 40.

    Exactly!
You lot can sum stuff up so much better than I can, but yeah thats what I was trying to say lol!

  • Comment number 41.

Right I'm off of here now.
Will be on Twitter if you want me....
    Night x

  • Comment number 42.

The picture does look a lot like Seth... It would be nice if he could have this huge backstory. (Plus they'd have to have him in flashbacks ect. :P)

  • Comment number 43.

And the guy in true blood is english too dunno if you mentioned that one just a mega quick skim. And the only reason Americans like an English villain is because inteligence is intimidating lol *ducks* :-P

  • Comment number 44.

well well Mr Tovey- Comic con fans are the best in the world eh?
    that's an annual thing.
this blog. is daily. hourly. even minute-ly!!!
    Where is the blogging love????

haha! oh ok only joking- but seriously- next interview Russell, BLOG FANS! *flutters eyelashes*

  • Comment number 45.

BNTW - I know right?! Pfft...we all had a grumble on twitter lol and only last week he was asking us for presents?! Excuse me Mr Tovey but you are definately gonna have to re think that comment if you want us bringing you things lol anymore of that nonsense and I'll be bringing my whip not sweets :-P

He loves us really...I'm sure he does...maybe it was just a clever ploy to make us shower him with presents lol try and buy him off...well I wasn't brought up that way Russell lol in my family you apologize til you're blue in the face and suck up like a sodding dyson and then maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe you get a bag of malteesers lol

Although another hug and a birthday kiss may well make me forget all that :-P just sayin...

  • Comment number 46.

Morning everyone! WB Anglo :) I still think it's Seth.

Going back to TB.. It just doesn't compare to BH at all. I thought the characters were a bit weak, if not slightly annoying and the shock value was over played and a bit pointless. I've read the books as well and although the characters aren't nearly as irritating in that format the story is even more bizarre. I could give you a prime example but it might spoil the next series if they put it in that is.

  • Comment number 47.

    Hello to anyone out there....

Super: I think you're here though I couldn't tell as I'm half-asleep and at work...not a good combo...did you have a good Christmas btw? Not asked half the peeps I normally chat to what kind of a time they had because I feel slightly jet-lagged (odd, cos I've not flown anywhere), but quite spaced out, so apols to anyone I've not asked about yet...I will get round to you all eventually lol

    TB definitely odd...agreed!

  • Comment number 48.

Super, I agree about TB. There's way too much sex and violence for it to be good. It's like they just put it in because they think that their audience wants it rather than because it would help the story. And I think I know what you mean in the second book. I was left wondering what was going on it was so weird! Reading summaries for the second series, I think they left it out. Which I think I'd have done too if I was adapting the book too xD Of course we could be think about completely different bits. lol

  • Comment number 49.

Hi all:: Still think that Lloyd is not really...well....right but hilarious. That picture of the Highgate Vampire is Christopher Walken isn't it?

If anyone gets the Sky monthly mags there is a lttle feature on our Marcus in Jan with a little mention of S2

  • Comment number 50.

Cieria, VF: Morning to you both...did you have good Christmas's?

  • Comment number 51.

LOL it is Walken! That is so funny. Bless Lloyd. I want to adopt him.

That weird TB thing C... was it the vamp who can't be named?

  • Comment number 52.

Morning....Christmas was the usual chaos.....s'like living in Clapham blogging Junction!!....love it really but to be honest I just wanted it out of the way so 10/1/10 would arrive quicker.

Did you have a nice one....Christmas, that is?

  • Comment number 53.

Anglo, yeah christmas was alright thanks. How was yours?

Super, would it help if we went somewhere private (msn, texts, DM, email ect) where we can talk about it without having to talk in code? lol

  • Comment number 54.

VF, Cieria: Good Christmas thanks...glad you both had good ones although it makes you wonder quite why we have to make it all so perfect all the time (sorry I'm sounding like one of those Grumpy Old Women on that TV programme which I love and saw one last night which was all about New Year...I could identify with a lot of stuff on that)...

VF: Take it your Christmas was quite busy...have lots of family over then? We had a few visitors but it could have been worse!

  • Comment number 55.

And Lloyd...oh dear, he's quite something isn't he? All that effort hehe...I want to buy him a new anorak..

    VF: Walken....must have another look...

  • Comment number 56.

More manic than busy really....but it's good, everyone mucks in and no-one expects to be waited on....just as well in this house!! I love them all dearly especially when they go home. Hehe. (now I feel awful saying that but you know what I mean).

No Irishman in your stocking then?...Nah, me neither....somebody got him and are keeping quiet.

  • Comment number 57.

GoodMorning everyone on this last day of 2009. Had a quick look through twitter ....my my, you were busy last night some of you feeling the love, or actually not feeling the love, from A and R...perhaps some grovelling on their part is needed before we shower thame with our love ( and chocolates) on the 7th...assuming they are there of course! Think that Russell will be and we know Sinead is going to be.

True Blood: I missed the first episode so sruggled to make sense of the ones I did watch...missed another one and then forgot about it really. I couldn't understand why humans who were bitten by the vampires didn't always turn into vampires.....perhaps I missed some crucial info at the beginning!

Off now but will pop back later before attempting to beautify myself for the evening..enjoy the day everyone

  • Comment number 58.

i hate to tell you this vampfan but the Irishman was in my stocking...I've managed to keep him very busy over the last 6 days...

  • Comment number 59.

    Hey guys!
Anglo and ATFan: It's true, there was WAYYYY too much sex at the beginning of True Blood! But now I absolutely love it! 2nd season and second half of 1st got over it and were brill! Very, very different show to BH though so I find the comparison a bit strange.

Yay Russell back in Doctor Who! And Comic-Con is pretty darn awesome! We did do a Mexican wave lol! It's well worth a visit but tres expensive for us Brits! And I'm sure it wasn't anything against the blog, he probably separates us from 'fans' because we're that awesome! :D

  • Comment number 60.

VF: It's good to enjoy Christmas but equally it's nice to have the house back at the end of it and for normality to reign supreme again....well, as normal as we fanpeeps will ever be of course hehe.. I was glad to get back to Bristol, just not glad to get back to work!

Dorina: Morning and happy almost New Year...missed you I think but if I don't catch you again have a lovely evening later...catch you some time on New Year's Day! Hope you had a good Christmas..

  • Comment number 61.

Dorina: Haven't missed you, have I! Am still trying to catch up with my fried brain over Christmas..how are you?

Gen: Happy Christmas-ish and almost happy NY...did you have a good one then? I know comparisons are a bit strange but I'd heard about how good TB was and really tried to stick with it, but after I missed the 6th or 7th episode I kind of lost impetus and didn't miss not seeing it...can't get back into it, yet at least...prefer BH not just because it's British but also because it had a lead up into the main story, it was a bit more subtle and not quite so in yer face and was written amazingly well...and we've been spoilt a fair bit by all the team!

  • Comment number 62.

Anglo: You too! And the rest of the blog!
It's true, I'm pretty sure there are no more spoilt fans than us bloggers! I've been completely off the blog for a while (that should really be some kind of euphemism!) so I don't know who's going to the london thing. How many bloggers got tickets?

  • Comment number 63.

Gen: Unsure as to exact numbers but I know of 7 of us 'regulars' who are going for definite plus another one or two who maybe...there are bound to be others out there whom I don't know who also have tickets but don't think there were too many tickets to be had, somehow...it might be a small cinema...I believe AT got nervous at ComicCon because of the number of folks in audience...quite a lot, took him by surprise I think poor bloke..

  • Comment number 64.

Awesome! lol yeah, he was a bit quiet! Russell and Lenora loved it though, I reckon there were around 3000-4000 in there! Crazy stuff!

  • Comment number 65.

Gen: hehe...there was a marked difference in the way they reacted... did you notice how twitchy poor Aidan got? Quite literally...he was fidgety and you could tell he wasn't entirely comfortable!

  • Comment number 66.

arghh so tired!! did anyone else decide to be a complete idiot and stya up to 4.30 watching the repeat episodes of being human???? arghh so tired! but it was kinda worth it :) :) lol happy new year everyone :) xx

  • Comment number 67.

Alismooth: Afternoon ....did you have a good time?

If I hadn't have been working today, I'd have stayed up last night/this morning for sure...I did record BH Unearthed on at the unearthly (!) hour of 4.25 a.m....apparently, it's excellent so Eagle tells me so I'm looking forward to that once I get home, with a coffee and the remains of something reasonably edible from the fridge...thank god Ive done all my food shopping is all I can say..

You off out tonight or in? Happy New Year to you too!

  • Comment number 68.

    (65) Anglo: Re Aidan: if you read yours and others' posts through his eyes, including the excitement of kidnapping him and doing all sorts of untowards things to him..... he must be scared to death of you guys!! lol

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't start turning up with security guards to boot! lol

well done anglo - i'm just out to buy food in a bit...

happy new year one and all x x x

  • Comment number 69.

Allyska: I know, poor guy...it's a good job he doesn't (I hope) take a lot of notice of this blog...probably has a bit of a nervous giggle at some of the things if they ever get reported back to him but probably not very interested in it, truth be told, though I'm sure he's grateful to his fans...it pays to be hehe

Catch up with you later...enjoy the food shopping (did mine yesterday and paid all my bills...absolutely crippled me!)..

  • Comment number 70.

No need to worry allyska ..fairly certain that non of the cast read the blog..they just like to tease us that they do..but that's ok...as long as they continue to send us messages on the vids ( boo hoo no more for long time until we see their intervies) we'll continue to feel all warm and ....other things.

Genevieve..are you the same Gen who asked a question at Comic Con ( heard on the vids put up on YT)? can't remember what the question was but I do remember se was a Brit by her accent. Lucky girl if it was you...

If I don't have opportunity again before I go out a Blogging Happy New Year to you all including the BH Blog team.

  • Comment number 71.

Hi Guys....blog and twitter quiet just now...not surprising really. Been out all day and Man now cookingso spare 30 mins or so before we get ourselves organised to go out.

Yeh agree Dorina...they don't read the blog but maybe some sort of messages get passed to them somehow..dunno...but the blog is for the fans really.

Well have a good one whatever you're all doing this eve and I will be here at some point when we surface tomorrow for a short time in between packing blah blah.

  • Comment number 72.

Hello all......just dropping in to wish you ALL a very happy New Year!
Will speak to you later tonight if I'm in any fit state, if not will speak tomorrow....
    11 DAYS TIL BH2!!

  • Comment number 73.

Brown, ATfan1, Dorina, GenGen, Alismooth and anyone else who knows me, yes, I'm in that kind of a mood...

I'll be on and off here all night as I'm not going out cos my mate is ill and it was her house we were going to, but never mind, I shall keep Jools Holland company if he's on...

BH PROD TEAM: Just seen BH Unearthed...loved it...bit of character info, behind-the-scenes stuff, interviews, it was all there and involved more than just the main 3 characters which was great...thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you once again for a lovely 60mins of story, chat and general info...hope you can do this with S2 when it comes to an end...you just keep coming up with this stuff and we keep on wanting more...(bet you wished you'd never started all this, don't you!).

  • Comment number 74.

    Hey anglo :)
I am going out a bit later but can blog from mobile internet if needed lol! So how much Aidan is there in Unearthed?

And what are our New Years resolutions guys?

  • Comment number 75.

    ATfan1: Just caught me!

Just a few short interviews plus bits of him filming with Annabel Scholey and Lenora...if you can get Twitter on your mobile I'll tweet you later about something a bit daft but something I noticed on Unearthed...he's still sexy as ever of course but the good thing about Unearthed is that it's not all the main 3 characters but others too and shows scenes being filmed...I loved it and won't ever record over it! I'll be recording everything that moves now I've the dvd..

Have a lovely night btw...tweet and blog laters for sure...am in all night, very tired and now not feeling 100% but good for a glass of plonk later! x

  • Comment number 76.

Ok, maybe you could DM me on twitter?
I'm intrigued.....I'm ready whenever you are lol....god bless technology!

  • Comment number 77.

happy new year bloggers and blog team xx

  • Comment number 78.

BH PROD TEAM: As you're all on your umpteenth bottle of something (if youve any sense!) just like to wish you, cast and crew of BH all a fab 2010, hope it's happy, healthy and successful for you all...may all your problems be supernatural ones!

  • Comment number 79.

Happy New Year bloggers, hope it's a blogging great one, well of course it will be, Being Human is back on isn't it

  • Comment number 80.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!' to all the BH team and cast and to all my fellow bloggers 6 more days till London and 9 more days to the show.. Hope everyone has a really good 2010 love me Amanda xxxx

  • Comment number 81.

BHF (ex ATfan1): Morning and a happy new one to you...managed to escape last night relatively unscathed apart from a headache...I can live with that.

It's weird...time really has flown...remember when we were getting all hot and bothered because it was October and 10th January was ages away (Ok, we didn't know it was going to be on 10th January then, but January was bad enough!) and it was waaay too far ahead for us....and now it's a week on Sunday with a little extra treat inbetween!

I wonder who the special guest is, the one Aidan mentioned in the video telling us about 7th January's event? Is it someone who was in the show or someone who is going to be? Maybe Greg Chillin or Dylan, or maybe Donald Sumpter or Lyndsey Marshal? Any advances on these thoughts....?

Drivingsuzanne: Happy New Year DS, have a wonderful 2010...am excited about this year for some reason...good vibes! How are you...are you coming to the event on 7th January or didn't you get tickets?

  • Comment number 86.

BHF is easier to type than ATfan1 was :)
Ahhhh good, same here to be honest....can't say the same for man/friends though lol!

Yeah I remember joining the blog about 6 months ago (was it? no idea) and being so exited that S2 was going to be filmed!

On the 7th are the cast going to be there? Cos if they're not billed as being there maybe he's talking about himself, or Lenora or Russell? lol

  • Comment number 87.

BHF: Just had another look at the vid from the December archives and he said he might be there but didn't say who else would although Im fairly sure Russell and Sinead will be...no idea about him or Lenora though because she has this other series coming up and might be doing promo work for that, but it'd be great if they all were..he did mention a "special guest" though..that wouldn't be one of the main four, would it? I'm wondering who it might be...I think Toby W and some of the head honchos will be there, like Mr Teague et al, so don't think it's them either...I'm thinking it has to be one of the other main characters...but wouldn't begin to guess who!

  • Comment number 88.

It could be one of the main four.....hmmm not sure :/

Yeah thats true...could be the Prof Jaggart character or something? Or Lucy?

And a very Happy New year to all bloggers and the BHProduction Team..and all the cast and crew of BH if by chance anyone from there looking in. Been busy last couple of hours talking to family and friends AND listening to David Tennant on Desert Island Discs...if you missed it catch it on the IPlayer..well worth a listen before we all get our hankies and tonight when we say goodbye to the best doctor ever.

Here briefly before going out for a walk..glorious day here...but will be back on later

    Love to everyone

Gen, Brown: Happy New Year guys...you survived last night then hehe...hope you both had great evenings...and another decade dawns..

You lucky girl Gen..there's several of you who'd be dead envious...have you listened to Ö÷²¥´óÐãiplayer btw...there's DT on Desert Islands Discs (Radio 4) on there...have a listen if you want it's there now, I heard it earlier today.

Brown: Hello! You sound as if you've had a good night out...dancing or friends? I had to prise myself out of bed around 10am, really didn't want to!

  • Comment number 93.

Oh here you are anglo...yes replied on Twitter.

Just read up on previous posts...I had assumed that the special guests Aidan was talking about referred to cast/production folk...can't see that they would introduce someone like the Prof. Maybe he's referring to Toby?

Anyways...all of you have a great time in London...I'll be offline until I return on Jan 22rd and I won't look at the blog or blog myself until I've watched the two episodes I wil have missed. Assuming I'm awake enough I'll then reenter the world of the BHblog at some point on the Sat...day before eps 3.

  • Comment number 94.

Brown: Hope you can record Eps 1 and 2, and 3 as well, just in case..unsure how long each ep will be on iplayer but I'm sure someone will be able to record it for you if necessary...

Will try to enjoy London (try?)...you will definitely enjoy yourself..may hear from you when you return..have a fabulous time B.
