Cafe

Ìý

It's just the kitchen in the back of a normal, everyday cafe, right?

Well it was until it became associated with our favourite Barry household....Ìý and we're pretty sure Tom did get the job. Check out his dubious interview here.

Being Human is only 1 sleep away. It's tomorrow night - can you believe it? See you here, tomorrow night for the live blog & countdown from 8pm.

Being Human Returns, Tomorrow 9pm, on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Three.

Comments

  • Comment number 1.

    Ooh, new blog people!

  • Comment number 2.

    Ok, where is everyone?

  • Comment number 3.

    Ohh straws.

  • Comment number 4.

Well the entrance to the Cafe proper is the same as in the pink house.

  • Comment number 5.

Hi Ewan, glad i'm not the only one here.

Strange mix of colours those straws.

  • Comment number 6.

I can't find the clue! I cant find the clue!!!
I found clues in the other pictures but I can't spot any hints in this picture! Someone help or I won't sleep tonight!! >.

  • Comment number 7.

No Urn Annie will care very little for this Cafe as there is no Urn.

  • Comment number 8.

Also plenty of 'cooking oil' to be found. How long will that last?

  • Comment number 9.

Wooden chip forks for staking tiny vampires?

  • Comment number 10.

    Plenty of mugs though.

  • Comment number 11.

I can't find anything... lots of cooking oil, chip forks... Nothing that stands out.

  • Comment number 12.

    Loads of straws

  • Comment number 13.

    Tom likes drinks with straws.

  • Comment number 14.

    Or was that spoons?

  • Comment number 15.

Now just had a thought about the clip.

The vampires aren't there does this mean that Eve is unprotected?

  • Comment number 16.

    This Time Tomoz

  • Comment number 17.

From a home filled with life.
    Defiant against the darking night.
Now a home beset by grief.
    Lives lost to much distress.
All the hope and courage shattered.
Now no more comes joyful chatter.

Hope however comes from the ashes.
Lone wolf, long dead and spirit shelter.
For them the task at hand is clear.
    Protecting sacred child Eve.
    Lest foul designs are manifest.
So will these poor Orphans live?

Such things we shall leave to Lord Toby.

    24 hours to go.

    Be seeing you.

  • Comment number 18.

Whats written top left corner? Blackboard? Can't see clearly?

  • Comment number 19.

Not another 24 hours...I can't last any longer...it's cruel I tell you! Cruel!!

Can't see any clues as such in the picture. Plenty of oil about, coloured straws, lovely little menu with Welsh flag (ten points!), lots of cup holders/paper cups...postcards! Cute touch. I see a cruise ship and then I'm guessing just the usual holiday shots. From the owner's family/friends or from patrons of the cafe...

And I'm going to stop now before I start trying to analyse the cafe owner *cough*

    But eeeeeee! Nearly there...nearly!!

  • Comment number 20.

been looking at possible places for clues, cant read the bottom few lines on the blackboard in the top left, anyone got any idea? Cola, Lemonade...

  • Comment number 21.

    18. - yeah, probably a menu board or maybe for drinks. I can make out the word 'Cafe' as well as 'Cola', 'Lemonade', 'Tizer' ...not sure about the other two, maybe chocolate milk and juice? :/

Though tizer! My word, it's been a while since i've seen that advertised anywhere!

  • Comment number 22.

The longest 23hours of the year is upon us once more come on spit spot

  • Comment number 23.

Just think 24 hours from now it will be a week till the next episode of being human.

    Isn't that a fun thought.

    23 hours to go.

  • Comment number 24.

Through the Force, things you will see. Other places. The future...the past. Old friends long gone.

hello friends. Healthy options? loads of chicken served in every which way and so many clowns, sorry, I meant so many cans of oil, crates, bottles. This cafe is a walking or sitting health hazard under the calling Werewolving Inferno

OK clue one: Fuzzy is female
Clue two: Nina is gone (sympathy bouquet) or is she? gone...
+ Ö÷²¥´óÐã ? For whom? Who is the new landlord?
Clue three: The Old Ones mean business and they are The Police. Giving a new meaning to Don't stand so close to me and Spiritis in a Material World
Clue four: you've got a fight on your hands and 'arson is coming'

  • Comment number 25.

What's with all the cooking oil again and is that a baby bottle warmer on the shelf I can't zoom in properly without it going blurry same with the black board
Lots of pictures of the sea in the postcard collection? Oh now that's gonna bug me come on people we can do this

  • Comment number 26.

Whoa wait a minute vegitable oil and other general house hold ingredients obviously I wouldn't list on a public forum can make explosives - vampires don't come out of explosions remember Bristol is Tom stock piling oil for a big bang type revenge on the fangy foe?

  • Comment number 27.

Is it my pc or is this pic harder to zoom into? Even though I've saved them exactly the same way. I want to look at the postcards and the shelves and it's blurry - the others were much sharper. What is that hiding?

  • Comment number 28.

Please no more snow, all my tv comes through sky dish, snow has blocked signal, no channels bar channel 5! Internet in rural area pants so no chance of iplayer, best be clear by tomorrow, pleeeese, aargh!! Gremlins...

  • Comment number 29.

27 - I agree Jo, have just strained my eyes trying to focus in on the blurry details. But this time tomorrow we will know!
If I switch on the urn now, it should be ready for us all to have a cup of tea at 9pm tomorrow.

  • Comment number 30.

Hmmm cant see anything thats not been mentioned ..cept the cooking oil on bottom shelf looks dark, like its been used, hence Tom may be planning a BIG "Roast" for his fanged fiends?

Whats in that double cupboard? Where was tom sharpening up his stakes?
    - do they have a stake special Menu?

Lots of speculation bin going round, as usual the trailers are cunning edited to lead us up the wrong path and I'm sure Tom will look after George as best he can. Roll on Sunday nite.. };J

  • Comment number 31.

hello all! to those in the appropriate time zone, Happy Feb 5th!

wondering about the post cards, what is written inside the menu, and what is on the other side of the doorway 'curtain' - straws are pretty, but....twitter referenced 'a key' in such a way, wondering if there should be an actual key in the pic, or where it is...

Will hv to decide whether to lurk on the live blog during airing.... tempted, but could be very spoiling, but 3 weeks is a long time to wait, but prefer to see it without knowing any specifics, but 3 weeks is a long time to wait, but want to know about Hal and Cutler and George and.....ARGH!!!!! enough to drive one to choose a chair, break a leg and sharpen it!

  • Comment number 32.

Feeling your pain, Sunny. Feeling your pain. Family strangely resistant to my suggestion of an 8 week holiday in the UK. Ridiculous mutterings about the cold and having to go to work and other nonsense.

I suspect Rebecca has put up a smaller pic because of all the complaints about the other ones being too big. People - all you had to do was click the square minimiser icon and you get a big pic with side and bottom slider bars. Or save it to your computer.

Anyway, I'm also having trouble figuring out what the clue is here, unless it's just all the oil - but you'd expect that in a cafe. That could be a bottle warmer on the shelf.

Ewan, isn't that an urn behind the teapot? Big modern one.

I can barely see the blackboard let alone the writing.

  • Comment number 33.

Thanks sage for the commiseration... :)

what is that between the two pots on the shelf below the stove? looks like a bottle of something, but its rather well hidden.

and why is the one wooden spoon so raised about the others? stake on the end, perhaps?

  • Comment number 34.

a question from this side of the pond - Chip Forks. These are forks made specifically to eat chips with? is that right?

and what is that bright streak down the back of the metal wall next to the electrical outlets?

Straws, chip forks, raised wooden spoon, bowls....perhaps some WW stew? or vampire seasoning to be made?

  • Comment number 35.

Hi Sunny and Sage also feeling the pain :(

    23 - Ewan that’s just cruel.

Ok seen too many food service kitchens in my time and nothing is jumping out at me as a clue. Only thing even supernatural –ish, is a dragon on the menu, don’t think that would be the new supernatural type.

  • Comment number 36.

hi Wendy! so this is an odd question, but is that what the clues are supposed to be leading toward? To figure out the "sorta new supernatural"?
*admits to not paying attention in class*

  • Comment number 37.

    To the morning shift:

although you won't need it with all the adrenaline flowing for tonight, have left some breakfast:

    fresh coffee, tea
    flavored creamers, honey, lemon, milk
    eggs, cheeses, fresh veggies
    sausages,
    chicken (string has been removed)
    cereal (fruit loops)
    cinnamon rolls
    danish, (incl key lime)
    croissants
    fresh fruit
and chilled champers in the fridge.....

    soon......soon....

  • Comment number 38.

    Morning All! Morning Mods!

Aw thanks Sunny - that's lovely. yummy key lime danish and coffee for me.

    17 - Brilliant.

32 - Sage, you are clever - thanks for the tip about the pics! I can see this one much better. When you click on it goes bigger and if you click again you can see the cupboard at the back. But what is the one key clue we are looking for? hmmm

    And.......... iiiitttt'''sssss ttttooooddddaaaayyyyyy! WooHooo!

  • Comment number 39.

36- just hints and clues for the new series in general. I'm not paying too much attention to the clues because you can over analysis everything. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride!! 11 hours to go!!

  • Comment number 40.

Who's going to be on twitter tonight? I will be - assuming I'm not too gobsmacked to type!! Lurking on here as well of course...

I've been tweeting a quote an hour from every episode to date to get into the mood - the last one was the lovely Ivan "I'm just one step away from wiping out an entire branch of Argos!" Next quote due at 11am (UK time)

BTW - totally identify with Ivan on the argos front! Best thing to do with it!

  • Comment number 41.

    Hey Jo! Check twitter..... ;-)

  • Comment number 42.

Just did - phone started beeping madly!! Many thanks - much appreciated!

I've had a ball with this - so many wonderful lines, so many I had to leave out...

Busy sharpening my crayons to start gathering best S4 quotes tonight...

  • Comment number 43.

    Tonightttt OMG Cant wait

I dont know if uve notest but ive been saving this quote all year for the night of the first episode x

"Im doing this because i love you"

    "I know"

"I think uve got a fight on your hands"

AND ILL SAY IT AGAIN TONIGHTTTTTTTT YAAAYYYY !!!!

  • Comment number 44.

40 - not me! Every sunday night at 9 i'll be doing my usual. Phone off, internet off, flatmate banished to her room!

  • Comment number 45.

Yes, I still found it quite hard to comment on the blog even during the 6th re-watch, just get caught up. Will try Rebecca.

Saffz - I loved all your quotes. :D

Going to peel the carrots. Worried I might burn them today.

  • Comment number 46.

    Soon...so soon now :D

  • Comment number 47.

KEY, key of the cash register??? see shadow?

hello, hello! happy day today . only 8hours and 36minutes to go

    dancing feet

  • Comment number 48.

Thinking about Tom, Dick and Harry... Hal is the diminutive for Henry ...like Harry , right? So who, where and what is going to be Dick? Richard the vamp has already been minced out...

  • Comment number 49.

Won't be watching it 'live'...bedtime routines for children, a Top Gear watching husband so i'll watch it later. I can't wait, i never thought i'd say this after the events of WSB but i am so, so excited about Being Human returning.

I think it's going to be epic...and heartbreaking...will i be needing tissues do you think?

I hope George isn't killed off...otherwise there'll be another monsoon of tears in the Ruby household #prays

  • Comment number 50.

Fingerless gloves definitely a must today, just passed by local Argos store, looked a bit "dead" in there so didn't venture in ...

  • Comment number 51.

47- oh yes! Bet that's it Saint. But I did wonder whatever happens to the cafe owner - got rich quick? Went off on a round-the-world cruise? hmm

    49. aw Rubes, that's lovely. xxx

    50. Can you see your TV now susie? Worried :S If not OK you can watch it on 'puter live streaming... just saying...

  • Comment number 52.

51 yes thanks Manc, snow melting thank heavens, was a very worried hu last night!

  • Comment number 53.

Morning all...to Sunny, Sage and Wendy....I share your pain...but...there may be another way for us to watch ealier than Feb 25th.

  • Comment number 54.

ON THE PLUS SIDE, ordered serie 4 on Amazon, so should get it by end of April

heehee, making sure I fdo not run out of BH vibes supplies

  • Comment number 55.

you can pre-order series 4 already??? Be right Back!

  • Comment number 56.

Hello Bloggers! Hello Mods! Hello Rebecca. And so the day has arrived.

54 - I just happen to have an Amazon voucher handy - now what shall I buy.........................? Corrrrrrrrrect!

  • Comment number 57.

    Can't order here yet..

  • Comment number 58.

Oooh! I just sold some books to Amazon for vouchers, pre-ordering time methinks!

Busy with the rugby (come on wales!) and then various chores around the house so I can watch it live tonight and in peace, but i'll try to pop onto the blog at some point to blubber or flail. Hope you all get to enjoy it tonight and nothing cuts out/stops recording/disappoints (unlikely)!

  • Comment number 59.

Well I can't see anything out of the ordinary in the picture - I agree with Lycan that the large bottles of oil look darker - as though they've already been used and Tom could be saving these for another day :-0 But other than that nada -maybe it is something so obvious that we're missing it?

  • Comment number 60.

54 thanks for that, just ordered mine too :) think looks more like explosives factory than cafe, or very greasy cafe!

  • Comment number 61.

    @SWRNMA
try amazon uk : it works! amazing, we haven't seen yet the first episode and we are already ordering the full season

    @mistress denton
if that doesn't prove to RW that the BH fans are true blue:blood and never staked, nothing will ever prove it

  • Comment number 62.

    Hey all!
Are we all looking forward to tonight?
Im going to try and live blog. And ill be on twitter after the show. My name is @lauren_1701 if you would like to follow!
I cant find any other clues on the picture apart from the vast amount of cooking oil...is tom planning on blowing some vampires up?

  • Comment number 63.

Ö÷²¥´óÐã have confirmed that there is going to be a new ww programme on CÖ÷²¥´óÐã called 'Wolfblood'. So on Ö÷²¥´óÐã there are now 3 supernatural programmes, 2 that have a huge fan base (bh being the one with the biggest) and now theres a new one which may get a great reception.

  • Comment number 64.

Anyone a teensy bit excited yet?
    (understatement)

  • Comment number 65.

    65 - I am experiencing a modicum of excitement :-)
    (another understatement)

  • Comment number 66.

Fresh off a brilliant game of rugby (not that I played *cough*), I'm now completely amped up for tonight. Eeeeeee! Plus there's a new Avengers trailer out in the US tonight during the Superbowl so this is turning out to be one great Sunday! (if one that will lead to a very sleepy Monday)

  • Comment number 67.

A little excited, well quite a lot, actually massively !!!!!

  • Comment number 68.

lol at 65 Sasha - 'modicum' Just read Mikey Gail's post in Ep 1 preview blog!

  • Comment number 69.

Whats everyone getting so excited for? Is something happening tonight?

Something in less than 4 hours maybe?

    NO MORE SLEEPS!!!!

  • Comment number 70.

I really cannot sit still....not sure what to do till 9pm...shall I re-arrange the furniture to keep occupied?? :-)

  • Comment number 71.

Afternoon bloggers....just popping on to wish everyone a 'Happy Being Human Episode 1 series 4 watch'! I won't be blogging during the actual show as I need to concentrate on every precious word, sight and action...but will see you all shortly after 10pm

Here's a pic of the gang with the 'cafe on the corner' in the background.

If you've all seen it before just ignore me.

  • Comment number 74.

Well hey there! Tonight's the night! Can't wait!

  • Comment number 75.

Not wanting to wish my weekend away but the clock is sure moving slowly today! Could it have something to do with a certain prog returning at nine that I'm eagerly awaiting?? Am unplugging phone line, silencing my mobile and padlocking front door, only guests welcome in my lounge are the supernatural kind!!

  • Comment number 76.

Can't find any clues at all in this picture. But never mind - don't need any it's on in LESS THAN THREE HOURS. WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

    Sooo... What's happening here then?
Waiting for something special, are we..?

  • Comment number 80.

79 - Only if someone else cooks it for me and puts it in my oven!!!
I could do with a catering potergiest... and a cleaning one!

  • Comment number 81.

    =======+++++SPOILERS+++++++++++==============
I don't know if these interviews have been mentionned

    but

and if you look closely each interview gives either spoilers of snippets of scenes, fascinating and really worth it if you think Mitchell has been ... forgotten

  • Comment number 82.

Maybe the cafe could do with an experienced tea making lady, anyone come to mind?....

  • Comment number 83.

80 - A cleaning poltergeist would be fab right now. I'm actually having problems with my actual plumbing, and the bathroom smells like sewers. I wouldn't even mind Owen doing the cleaning up, as long as I don't have to do it myself...

  • Comment number 84.

    @snowie @aquamarine

    having chicken tonight and risotto
yes there is a theme going on here
