    ...
    FIRST!

  • Comment number 2.

Hmmm I first off read them the wrong way round and was slightly confused! :)

  • Comment number 3.

I think this is the fourth letter to appear on the blog, George, Hal, the one for Kirby and now this one...season four is all about the letters :)

  • Comment number 4.

SECOND! you watch somebody will have beat me to it

  • Comment number 5.

This comment was removed because the moderators found it broke the house rules. Explain.

  • Comment number 6.

Aok666... are you sure you are not Adam...

  • Comment number 7.

    Knew id get beat! haha,

    5. LOL can imagine him saying those exact words

  • Comment number 8.

Evening Bloggers, Mods and Rebecca, how are we all tonight?

I need a catch up, blasted internet! That's the acceptable version of what I've been calling it!

  • Comment number 9.

*sob* someone's reported my Adam-style letter post! *sob* :"-(

  • Comment number 10.

Wow 2 blogs in one day, we are spoiled!

  • Comment number 11.

    5. aOk666. (good naame) That Adam 4 ya! lol ... had only just watch previous blog love the crazy WW kid, being a bit to unsubtle that shes a WW. Wander if her brains will help Tom finish his Pool.

  • Comment number 12.

    5. Hilarious!

aww this letter is so sad, i feel really sorry for Yvonne, so glad she met Adam so they can live happily ever after, but i cant help thinking, what will happen to Adam when she dies? (do Succubi die?) he will definitely fly off the rails then. I hope it doesn't happen too soon, they make each other so happy, Adam's face when she opened the door was so sweet, it nearly made me cry :')

  • Comment number 13.

That letter was adorable. And so sad if it turned out he was her "second consort" and really died through sleeping with her. But as he said, it was on his top ten list of preferable deaths, so not too bad, eh? ;)

@145: I'd like Hal to go on a rampage, then be totally devastated about it, lock himself up in his room, deciding he's not fit to ever be in the company of humans again, then Annie rentaghosts into his room and comforts him. That would be adorable.

@150: Possible couple name for Tom and Allison: Tison! :D Now I'm thinking of the boxer. *lol* But I still think it sounds cool.

  • Comment number 14.

9- I thought it was rather funny!

  • Comment number 15.

I even starred out the rude word and used the least offensive language within Adam's vocabulary... it's not fair...

  • Comment number 16.

15.Sorry i missed it a0k, seems like the lucky ones who read it enjoyed it!

  • Comment number 17.

Couple name: Or Tomson, that's even cooler! :)

  • Comment number 18.

Presumably this letter is from Yvonne's second 'consort'. He had a lovely turn of phrase. There are some good letter-writers on the crew of BH!

  • Comment number 19.

    Ellie Kendrick playing Allision,

When i saw the trailer for next week the first thing i thought was "hmmmm ive seen her somewhere before", i just googled her name and found out she played Anne Frank thats were ive seen her before.

Yes Manc my twitter is Safffzz, i changed the name on my old acount then deactived it so i can have a new twitter with the same name :D werid much?

  • Comment number 20.

    Paraphrase of Adam's Letter:
"I don't want to ruin my new trousers, so can we [have intimate relations] before I [make a mess] in my [underwear]? Thanking you in advance, the A-Bomb."

  • Comment number 21.

@a0k666 Haha, that's great even if I didn't get to read the original.

  • Comment number 22.

    19. she was also in Upstairs Downstairs last year, she might be in this years, i don't know, haven't watched it, its on a sunday at 9, im not sure what im normally doing then but im definitely a little preoccupied with something or another :P

  • Comment number 23.

@a0k666 thanks for the paraphrase! Not too tricky filling in the gaps.

  • Comment number 24.

@ShoePigeon She's not in this series of Upstairs - think she may have been a little preoccupied with other things too! She was really good in the last one though so expecting good things on Sunday... Is is STILL not Sunday yet?!

  • Comment number 25.

    20. well done 666 named person (I prefered your original)

A Weary WW ramblings on Sundays ep.. (Far better than cringey Kirby), Yvonne was intriging and has made me vow not to look at ANY spoilers (Im with You Manc..)

SORRY ITS A BIT HAP-HAZARD BUT NOOOOO SPOILERS...

Scary Sucubus red eyes! worse than vamps black. Do you think d think she would have brought Tom him a puppy?

Funny 鈥 Tom rushes off to get dressed as soon as Yvonne tells him (bossy school mam!)

Toms use of Scalextric controls for swimming pool and Hals reaction 鈥淪wimming pool, yes, naturally...鈥

Glad to see the nosey journalist 鈥 even though he was annoying, there have to be a few more Humans aware of Vamps, shame he didn't get Cutler in a way 鈥 just want to know how Cutler got past the Cruxifix to get out 鈥 ideas anyone? Also why wasn't the journo ready to stake him?

Cutler lurking in woods with body, may have bumped into Gs Dogging friends.....

Cutler nearly got caught, think he may fall on his bum eventually or live to scheme into S5?

Cutler mentioned Trumpton cop-shop perhaps an indication of his vintage? (if he remembers trumpton he could well be more Like Adams vamps age (42ish_

Tom trying to impress Yvone with his staking stories and love the scene round break where the 鈥渂oys鈥 were all trying to impress her ~(Duncan wasn't as big as Brian)

    Toms Pool, Hals getting Worried

Tom, Banished to his room by Annie for having naughty thought about Yvonne.

Toms mention of Full moon? - was this for real or just Tom going Gaga for the Succubus?

Girl Adam stalked to Pub 鈥 thought she was gonna turn out to be a HE! - Was it TWs cameo part?

  • Comment number 26.

Was definitely the Morning After - when Adam starts hammering on the door, Tom sticks his head out of the cellar (aka transformation den).

  • Comment number 27.

    25. tom came out of the cellar in his pants when Adam knocked on the door, so i assume he was transforming there, also Cutler left that body in the woods to look like a WW attack, so it would make sense to do it the morning after a full moon.

  • Comment number 28.

Having just looked up Trumpton I did not realise there were only 13 episodes! I always thought there were loads more (sorry randomly off topic again)(also definitely wasn't alive to watch it when it first aired so I guess that's going to be my excuse for my ignorance - great show though)

*returns to mental corner, flower-pot, red shield polishing and Kia-Ora*

  • Comment number 29.

Maybe Cutler's been listening to the breaktime chat at Stokers?

  • Comment number 30.

Totally irrelevant but anyway... Hal's packing list for the trip to HH:

    Pens and paper (for lists)
    Man bag
    Dominoes
    Book collection
    Free weights
    Red shield
    Marigolds
    Kami
    Needle, thread, canvas
    Lute, spare strings
    Jackson Five Greatest Hits
    Stash of Kia Ora (shhhhh...)

  • Comment number 31.

19 - thanks Saffz -seeing you there, hon. x

Well, you go over to the 'dark-side' for 10mins and you come back and there is a new blog! Going to read it now.

Lycan, Not long until that full moon. but agreeing with you NO SPOILERS! Grrr..

Was THAT what that that red thing was that Tom picked up, Lycan? Thanks - wondered what it was!

  • Comment number 32.

a0k666 That was pure Adam. Are you channeling?

Loved this letter and WWgirl video. The 主播大秀 really must love this blog. With these treats you are spoiling us.

  • Comment number 33.

Where does Hal find lute strings?!?
    Other activities for Hal:
Balloon modelling? Bonsai (takes a lot of time, which is one thing he's got)? I wonder whether he can cook?

  • Comment number 34.

    30. love it!

i also love how he has got the bike from the 'Basement Gym' in his room! and it looks like they have played musical beds this year, Eve has Annie's chair in the nursery, Annie has George and Nina's bed and Hal has Herrick's!

  • Comment number 35.

@a0k666: for all your lute needs (not sure what Hal did before the internet though...)

  • Comment number 36.

Lizzy T I don't think we are ever going to know about the Kia Ora incedent. Unless Lord Toby decides it is appropriate and the kind and goodly scriptwriters knock up a scene to reveal all. However, we can imagine and make fun and deffinatley chuckle imagining what it could have been. Ah well.

  • Comment number 37.

Well, if invisible to cameras it's not too hard to steal lute strings from museums and stately homes I guess (especially if you're in your bad phase and can happily eat the security guards).

  • Comment number 38.

    34. ShoePigeon - you've got eagle eyes! Eww, I'm a bit creeped out if Hal has Herrick's old bed.
BTW - only just got your your name hehehe. Bit slow, me.

And with that, it's good night folks!

  • Comment number 39.

I don't know if it's been mentioned or not but I've just realised...doesn't the voice on the radio sound a lot like Regus?
*I am not good at staying on topic*

  • Comment number 40.

Maybe only Annie wanted the frilly couple bed? And Eve needs a chair to be propped up in/fed comfortably in. Tom wouldn't give up his bouncy bed, so Hal was stuck with the saggy old attic bed which smelt funny, stabbed him with a spring, and had a pair of bloodstained jimjams shoved under the mattress.

  • Comment number 41.

@howlingblue I'm hoping for a dvd extra on that one.

  • Comment number 42.

The one day I surgically remove myself from my laptop and we are spoiled with two posts! I'm never going to be able to leave this blog again.

Firstly, *signs petition for more Hal flashbacks, preferably with open or no shirt ;)*

    20. @a0k666 wish I could have read the original, but that is spot on!

    35. @LizzyT Prehaps in the old days there was a shop called LutesRus?

*Goes and joins RentAGhost in the crazy corner*

  • Comment number 43.

Cheers all ye observant Bloggers, thought Tom was getting lazy lounging round in Boxers whil poor hal did washing up.

    33. Bonsai- Hal could have a 20 foot tree by now.
Balloons - a bit too irritating 4 Hal i reckon
    Tai Chi and other meditaions
    Match stick models?
Model Railway - or is that more Mitchells thing

Scooby doo, Trumpton, what Kids Tv references will we get next week?

  • Comment number 44.

Kia-Ora used to contain that dodgy orange colouring which could cause hyperactivity in children. So did a lot of squashes and cordials (which Hal is supposed to avoid in general).

  • Comment number 45.

@nerdyalice Hello plenty of space in the crazy corner for all, (to be honest though is that not just another name for the blog really?!) help yourself to some Kia-Ora, a mojito and a muffin (choc and banana today).

@Homind96 Yeah I thought that too, and it's on the blogs somewhere, but I'm never 100% about these things and I'm probably wrong

  • Comment number 46.

Matchstick models and Tai Chi sounds good for Hal. And balloons need care and patience or they go BANG. The point of bonsai is to *not* have a 20ft tree.

  • Comment number 47.

*drinks normal squash as is hyperactive in default state*
*remembers one blog she used to go on where the entire conversation was done as actions in asterisks, it ended up as a "party" with a cat appearing out of a popcorn bucket and having kittens in a skeleton's ribcage while a lost tribe of Neanderthal chanted and cooked mammoth to celebrate*

  • Comment number 48.

Ohh it was a scalextric control? I actually paused that bit and stared at it for ages trying to work out what it was haha..

I noticed the bed swap too what's that about, Annie never needed a bed before although she has been saying that she's tired a lot so maybe she decided she did! And I thought Hal had George/Nina's room but it looks a lot smaller, maybe it's just because he only has a single bed in there now (shame, that ;) but I'm sure when Annie showed him around with Leo/Pearl it still looked like Nina and George's room?

Presumably Hal had a trusty supplier of lute strings in southend.. Clearly people in those parts don't ask too many question seeing as somehow none of the locals/neighbours noticed Hal never aging during all that time it took for Leo to become an old man!

lycan (43) "Model Railway - or is that more Mitchells thing" LOL

do they actually still make kia ora? I haven't seen it in years. I literally said Annie's line along with her at that point!

  • Comment number 49.

    Hal hobbies:
Stamp collecting? basket weaving? mosaic? Unicycling? Writing Haikus?

  • Comment number 50.

I will probably cry and go into a state of anger if there isn't a season 5 and this one ends on a cliff-hanger. >:[

  • Comment number 51.

    47. *slowly shuffles chair away from a0k666*

  • Comment number 52.

    47. can I have some of your Kia-ora, I didn't get a word of that

I know Bonsai, my Trees trying to die on me :(

    Has anyone seen my Camel?

  • Comment number 53.

You all are making me nervous, I am house sitting from Thursday for a friend's mum, who has given me instructions to look after a bonsai tree! I didn't realise they were problematic lol hope I don't kill it!

  • Comment number 54.

    Adding to Hal's hobbies:
    Train/plane/anything-except-bird spotting? It involves lists.

  • Comment number 55.

Actually scratch that, we've already seen what happens when TW lets vamps near trains...

  • Comment number 56.

We know Hal writes poetry; basket-weaving is another good one but he can't have "collect stamps" in his rota if he hasn't been in contact with humans for 55 years...
Also hard to spot trains from a first-floor window, but planes maybe. Or cars.

  • Comment number 57.

    Hal hobbies:
-This - only took the guy 37 years to do, imagine what Hal could achieve!

  • Comment number 58.

Car spotting lol, is that a thing?
Whoever suggested meditating, not sure he could do that one either isn't it all about finding your centre/core of your being? That can't end well for Hal!
If it's all about occupying all his time, you'd think his life would have got a lot easier with the invention of the internet really!

  • Comment number 59.

*looks out of window at nearly-full moon*
*sighs reminiscently at memories of S1Ep3, George and Nina's first date the day before full moon*
*laughs at memories of the end of that date*

Hal hobbies: art? Maybe he can paint? Painting in blood is apparently really hard, because it separates, and will rehydrate if you try to add another layer so it goes smudgy. Mitchell wasn't kidding about writing in blood being totally impractical!

  • Comment number 60.

Oh course, Seth pointed at planes and look where that got him.
Maybe Hal could people watch out of the window.

"Fashion these days is simply ridiculous, that boy down there has his trousers down around his knees. He really should invest in some braces, or at the very least a good belt. Honestly people would have been put in the stocks in my day had they been showing their under-garments!"

  • Comment number 61.

I love that you know that. Though I'm not sure I want to know why you do! I think of BH every time the moon is full or nearly full, reckon I have done every full moon since the show started is that weird?
I really hope Hal paints. And also cooks. And plays music other than the Lute.. Maybe the piano I reckon that would suit him!

  • Comment number 62.

People-watching is not good for Hal. It's like watching a sushi conveyor-belt.
In the stocks? They would have been flayed, surely...
Hal must avoid internet due to all his old pals on Twitter etc.
I've played enough games of Yellow Car Mini (the original, violent version) to know that there are probably carspotters out there.

  • Comment number 63.

    57. ok that guy is mental, i don't think even Hal is that mental

    60. love it :)

  • Comment number 64.

    @a0k
If they show Hal painting and doing embriodery, I won't just faint I'll melt into a gelatinous mound on the floor.
I do art and textiles, it would be too much to ask for.

  • Comment number 65.

@61: there was an article about it in my Ripley's Believe It Or Not annual. With pictures. (Do not give Hal a copy.)

  • Comment number 66.

@64: I do Biomedical Science, plenty of immunology (think blood cells) and some haematology - so do I get to work with the bad Hal?

  • Comment number 67.

Hal belting out jazzy stuff on the piano/organ at HH would be great, and teaching bigger toddler eve to play...

  • Comment number 68.

Hal should write a book about all his exploits, i know that'd mean going over it all again but maybe he could exorcise his demons then he could move on.

The moon is approaching, two days and it'll be at it's fullest!

That's when things get a bit *ahem* hairy!

  • Comment number 69.

WolfNight is tomorrow though, fullest point being in the morning on the 8th. (Guessing that werewolves transform at the closest 7/8pm to the moon's peak.) There are some lockable brick garages near my house, will listen out for shrieks!
@67: imagine Hal and Carl jamming on the piano at some past vamparty...

  • Comment number 70.

I'm assuming Hal can play piano since Annie wanted him to give Splodge lessons

  • Comment number 71.

@62 Ah yes of course yellow car mini a classic game, can't see Hal playing it with Leo and Pearl though hehe!
@63 yup he is definitely mental. A nice time consuming hobby though!
@67 awwww yes! teaching little Eve to play piano or paint or make origami = adorable. RentAGhost I had forgotten Annie said that! I hope we get to see Hal playing piano

  • Comment number 72.

    69. aah, Carl... Please just slaughter the whole of Albert Square just so you can come back, steal some shepherds pie and have an intense staring competition with Hal x

  • Comment number 73.

I wonder if Hal keeps a diary? Id love to read that, bet it would be really funny..

Maybe in his spare time Hal tries to locate shops that still sell Kia-Ora?

Actually, Hal's quite stylish. Must take him quite some time to decide what outfit to wear, perhaps he spends his days doing that? but tbh he looks good in anything ;)

Thought it was funny how even in Hal's dream thing, Adam was being funny, so technically all the funny things that Adam was saying in Hal's dream were created by Hal's mind, and he even dreamed about Annie having a little bitching session about Yvonne witch made me laugh

  • Comment number 74.

@72: it was his share of pie. There was a quarter for George, a quarter for Mitchell, a quarter for Nina (covered for when she got home) and the quarter that Carl was eating. He didn't steal Nina's share.
@73: Hal seems to have worn the same suit for 55 years. How he knew that limerick he ascribed to Adam, I hate to think...

  • Comment number 75.

69, good point. I'll be roaming free, *cocking* my leg and marking my territory! Hahaha.

Better get my chicken on a string at the ready!

I think Hal could be an all round entertainer, he's had plenty of time to learn plenty of instruments. And we know he can sing.

He could be a one-man band, cymbals between his knees, bass drum on his back, guitar in hand and a harmonica round his neck!

  • Comment number 76.

I just have this image in my head of a one year old Splodge getting all excited and just mashing the keys on the piano and Hal freaking out about the lack of discipline.

"No... no... don't do that... not like that Eve... Being a pianist requires discipline and application. See like this, one, two, three, four... Up and down the scales like that..." *Splodge bashes keys again* *Hal face-palms*

  • Comment number 77.

    @halftw
    Hmmmmm....
Shall I wear my black t-shirt with a collar and the buttons done up, my black long sleeved top without a collar and the buttons done up, my white t-shirt with a collar and the buttons done up or my white long sleeved top without a collar and the buttons done up.
    Decisions, decisions.

  • Comment number 78.

@73: And he can't even see himself in the mirror! That's dedication (and vanity *lol*), being stylish and taking care with your clothes/hairstyle etc. when you can't even look at yourself. I like it. ;)

It must also be really difficult to judge for yourself what would suit you unless you're constantly asking others for their opinion. Which I can't imagine Hal doing. So he must have quite the fashion sense. :)

  • Comment number 79.

    74. I don't want to argue with you but...

Nina stands looking in the fridge whilst having a conversation with carl about killing people etc. She turns to him and says "Is that my shepherds pie?" to which he replies "Most probably"

  • Comment number 80.

Vamparty! Lol! Wow I really hadn't made the connection between Carl and Eastenders before. As soon as you said it I realised who he was!

Just laughed so much at the image of Hal as a one man band, now that is an image I think we need to see!

RentAGhost brilliant, can totally picture that scene.

  • Comment number 81.

Mitchell had lots of time, but I doubt he ever learnt to play his guitar, accordion and saxophone. Vamps usually spend their time getting smashed then cleaning up the mess afterwards...
@76: loving it! (Will he try to teach her Auld Lang Syne?)
@79: I'm pretty sure that there's a portion on the table set out for Nina separately, which she starts to pick at while Carl continues to eat his out of the dish (George wouldn't give Nina her dinner out of the baking dish, would he now?).

  • Comment number 82.

    76. Lovely image Renta-G, hope she grows up to love her Uncles Hal & Tom.

Tom - will teach her survival in the woods - may have to show her chicken-on-a-string trick (hope shes not a Veggie) + hunting, fishing, driving a campervan etc.

  • Comment number 83.

    77. ROFL XD

  • Comment number 84.

Imagine if Eve was getting bullied at school, i could imagine the conversation with Hal and Annie

'Hal, Eve told me that she's getting bullied at school, We need to scare the bully, Just a little bit'
    'Let's do it'

  • Comment number 85.

74, 79, 82 no late night pie fights please! Aunty Manc won't appreciate mince and carrots all- over the Blog next time shes here.

  • Comment number 86.

    80. the moment Michael Moon first arrived i shouted "GAY VAMPIRE MAN!" and have done so every time i have watched Eastenders ever since

"He's your murdering psychopath, if you want to keep him then you have to look after him" aah good times :)

  • Comment number 87.

@82: but he no longer has a campervan and Eve doesn't (probably) need the chicken-on-a-string... considering her parentage though, she might like long walks. Let's hope that Tom is not silly enough to teach her fire-making when she's still young enough to try it indoors...
@84: Eve will probably have learnt enough self-defense from Tom to deal with bullies twice her size...

  • Comment number 88.

@82: Your Uncle Hal/Tom comment got me thinking.
How adorable would it be if Eve started saying her first words and she calls Hal "Dad"? :D Technically he is her "make-do father", I think I would melt into a puddle on the floor if that happened! Aawww, it has to happen! I can imagine fan girls squeeing everywhere.

  • Comment number 89.

@78 he may not be able to see himself but he has had Pearl and Leo to decide on fashion and hair for him! Wonder if he will gradually become slightly more dishevelled looking with mussy hair and maybe even a little bit of stubble from time to time.. and with no one to point it out he may not notice if he leaves a couple of buttons open, or even forgets his shirt altogether... oh wait, I'm thinking aloud again aren't I ;)

Let's face it, assuming Splodge survives to grow up at all, she'll hardly be able to help falling in love with Hal eventually will she, and now that is a weird thought...

  • Comment number 90.

    @lycan666
    @a0k666
Ah yes, they may not have the campervan any more, but it will still be a useful skill for her when they (finally) get the Scooby Doo van.

  • Comment number 91.

I think Hal and Tom will be real good Make do dad's for Eve, she'll grow up from being a baby with them and to them it will almost feel like she is their kid, I think Hal has a soft spot for her already

  • Comment number 92.

    85. sorry Lycan *bows head in shame* *notices feathers stuck to shoes...*

  • Comment number 93.

Interesting first-day drawings at school from Eve then... freak the teachers no end.
@86: it's "He's your murdering *fugitive*". And "Gay Vampire Man" was actually Dan (the man *killed by* a gay vampire, according to Lucy's expert diagnosis).

  • Comment number 94.

    84. 87. Tom will teach her the Neck thing (didn't Mitch have his own version of that with Graham too?) and loved the way he hauled the chinese vamps out of their car.

I reckon Dewi will come back in the camper to get his mum to do his washing.

  • Comment number 95.

88- That has to Happen. Eve's first word has to be calling Hal 'Dad', that would just be so adorable, i think id just die. I think Hal would too, he obviously really doesn't want to hurt her, he goes all scared when he thinks that he might be the nemesis bless him, that would just be the cutest moment ever!

  • Comment number 96.

So, another letter. And the envelope says Yvonne. All the other envelopes have been addressed to the person the letter was sent to, so I'm saying George's parents do know about Eve. Though why he would send it to them rather than give it to Annie, I don't know. *Can't let go of discussion from previous blog

You all seem a bit mad, in the nicest possible way, but that Neanderthal comment does worry me a bit. *Also backs away nervously

  • Comment number 97.

Can't stay up any longer, have to get up early tommorow...finding it really hard to put my computer down though, love this blog! Oh well, Bye guys!

Really hoping Hal get's called Dad by eve!

  • Comment number 98.

@91: I think to Tom she will feel more like a little sister. I don't think he feels like he's playing a father role, he's still too naive and innocent and wants his own dreams fulfilled, I mean he himself is still looking for a father figure, now that McNair's gone.

But Annie always wanted kids anyway and is quite motherly and Hal...well, he's so old, he could be her great-great-great...grand father. I lost count. *lol*
That somehow sounds really wrong, considering how hot he is, but what I mean is, he should fit the father role quite well in terms of maturity.
And yeah, it seems like he's developing quite a soft spot for her. It's so cute. I'm a sucker for hot men with kids, I don't know why. *looks sheepish*
