Poor old Cutler, I don't think even he knows quite what he wants. He plans destruction but he doesn't like killing people himself, he always has to get someone to do it for him... whether filling blood bottles or shredding clubbers.
Looks like Cutler's vaguely trying to sort out a Travelodge and come up with topics of conversation for Old Ones.

Because if you don't feel with your characters, how would your readers? The books that don't have me routing for the protagonist don't usually make it to my must-read-again pile.
A manly man, huh? I'm not quite sure what's considered manly but I think man should be allowed to show emotion. This whole "Indians don't cry" thing is soooo outdated. So I think it's nice that you can feel with the BH-characters like that. And admit to it, too.

Exactly, books like.. I can't stand books like the one that shalt not be named with a twinkly vampire not because of the plot ( or lack of ) but for the lack of character depth. The main character of said book has little to no substance whereas say Hal has so much hidden depth ( which DM brings to the role so well) that it makes him so interesting to watch that it drags mein.
and as for being a "female woman" I dont think sarcasm etc retracts from femininity infact I'm a very sarcastic person so I look for people who can take my banter and give it back so I wont be putting up with you I shall be respecting ou :)

I don't like those cut-and-dried characters that don't change throughout the story. They are just to boring.

Hmm, favourite musical... I love the music of Les Miserable and Phantom of the Opera the most, I would say. Am dying to see Les Miserable one day, sadly not showing in Germany anymore.
I prefer musicals to plays as well, but how could I miss DM in Travelling Light? ;) I like plays if they are well-acted and I know that will be the case here, so I bet I'll love it.
The city I come from has just really bad theatre productions, so there's not much to see for me here play-wise, that's probably why I was never much of a theatre-goer until I saw some good ones somewhere else and was like "Oh, I actually like theatre". *lol*

The most annoying thing about those books for me is how they're all irrelevant. The author had a dream which turned into one scene in the book and made the rest up to go along with it. It's literally a series of filler material.

I bit the bullet today and asked my boss for Monday off as I predict I'll probably want to watch Sunday nights ep on a loop. These past 7 Monday's I've barely been able to get through the day in work without obsessively checking the blog/twitter/fan pages etc about the previous nights show. I imagine this Monday I'll either be curled up in a ball somewhere, still crying from the night before or roaming around every shop in Dublin to find Kia-Ora to start sending the cartons (does it still come in cartons?) to the beeb as part of a one-woman campaign for season 5.

In terms of sarcasm etc I think the internet just helps people like us thrive. Blogs and chat rooms etc are sort of a satire of life in a way and it helps with that sort of thing to have a slightly cynical, sarcastic sense of humour. We say things on the internet we would be slightly more shy about saying in RL because the most that is going to happen if you offend someone is they'll either ignore you or they tell you and you can apologise whereas in RL if you offend someone sometimes that can just be it and you've lost a friend.
22 @LouLou
Thats a very interesting point, one which I'd never really thought of before but actually makes perfect sense. We all have our humane empathetic "want to fit in" sides and yet we all struggle with our little problems that perhaps remove us from society a bit. Be it our sarcasm, our social awkwardness, maybe even disabilities ( I personally struggle with all 3 since iI'm sarcastic, socially awkward and am visually impaired) and we all identify with the show because its basically a supernaturally metaphorical representation of our lives and struggles. Great point.

Naw were you worried?
While we're lobbying for series 5 can we start a petition for Cutler to switch sides and join the HH. We could have a nice big cast. Hal, Tom, Annie, Alex and Cutler and possibly a new werewolf to join ( or Allison to return?) so we have two of each :D. Except Cutlers allegiance would be dubious and we'd never quite know if he was really a "good guy" until the finale when his loyalty was tested.
