Now that Inspector Nelson has moved on to pastures new, Walter Briggs accepted a transfer back to his old stomping ground.

He expected his return to go fairly smoothly but his arrival comes at a time of upheaval for everyone.

But he is no pushover and will soon whip everyone (and himself) into shape; he has a no nonsense attitude and expects diligence, punctuality and professionalism from his team.

This will set him on a collision course with , whom he remembers all too well for his unscrupulous practices in the past.
