Could you by any chance make these videos availabe for everyone outside the UK on Youtube please, all I can see is the prequels and can't enjoy fully this series cause I haven't seen the vids

Really so pleased with the new castings. I've seen the old Annie in The Devil's Whore recently, I'm fairly sure..beautiful and good actress but her Annie accent was just sooo grinding and irritating. The new Annie is just as beautiful but has a lovely voice in comparison. The new Mitchell is sooo sexy (no offence to the old one) and Russell Tovy is just FANTASTIC, as always. Am sooo happy The Beeb saw sense and commissioned a series :-)

Having said the above, I do agree with some of the other comments elsewhere on the site about Annie. I do think the original actress made the character more endearing and, certainly, I noticed this with the cups of tea aspect. I wonder if, perhaps, the new actress is a little young for the part but hope that she grows into it. I think, at present, she may come across too much like a bounding, overenthusiastic puppy. I do think she did a good job of getting across the vulnerability of Annie outside the house, in episode 2. Don't want to appear mean about her performance, I think she'll grow into her role as time goes on.

I was a little unsure at first about the new Annie as well - but I think the writer is trying to get across that the ghost is lively, the werewolf is shy and sweet, the vampire is laid back and friendly... Basically, going against everything you'd expect, and so making them more real and human. I think. :-)

Just watched the pilot again on You Tube and have to say I think the chemistry between the original cast was much better. I hope the new Mitchell and Annie can recreate this with time.

Hmmm, I keep watching the repeats and changing my mind. I now think the original Mitchell was much better (agree with the Facebook comments on this), even though the new one is sexy. And I now think the new Annie is actually very good. Am not tired of watching all the episodes again yet. Very good sign.

I have to agree with sperkii's comment - there was chemistry between Mitchell and George in the pilot that seems to be lacking in the series. You instantly got the sense they'd been friends for ages, but here it just doesn't feel like they're the great buddies they keep proclaiming. Maybe it's just me, but right now, I can't see why these two are together - not really. But I hope this will change with more backstory/Mitchell & George interaction.

Just to be positive, though, the character of Annie is much stronger than in the pilot.

Have to admit i did like the chemistry between mitchell and george in the pilot and it did seem as though theyd been friends for years and years but i think that mitchell and George have grown now and the relationship has developed and its just as good - with a new actor its bound to take a bit of time to settle in but i think it has and theyre just as good now as in the pilot. I wonder what Guy is up to now though I hope he does well cos he is a really good actor too :-)

I'm dying here! I live in United States and am not able to see any of the new episodes season 2 because they are not on regular bbc anymore...... major bummed. Does anyone know how I can get it?

I would very much like to know a little about how the casting of the various actors and actresses came about. It's an unusual programme and it would be interesting to know more about how the cast came to hear about the auditions and decided to go for the roles. Also, I would like to say, 'Being Human' is a very welcome replacement at this time of year for 'Merlin' which we also love. We don't watch much TV in our house but we're dedicated fans of both of these!
